there is not much more damage he could do abusing drugs lol. so ruining your health in a compatetive way seems like the better option.
i really admire you for starting boxing and pulling through....its a tuff sport and you got my respect. good luck on your first fight.
on the other hand showing of injuries of it on the interweb is lame lol.
jesus christ was a gangsta rapper. they killed him. he came back and made a platinum album.

I box to keep fit. These past 6 months or whatever i've just been a bum and all my muscles etc have been going to waste I dont box to fight at all although it is damn good at releasing some stress.
edit: oh btw D_A_Kuja the hand injury = from not wearing wraps. the head = nothing i could do about it, the guy is physically bigger than me, i gave as good as i got though and didnt keel over like most of you people woulda

there are other ways to keep fit, if you think you re a pretty boy and dont want to get your nose broken then boxing is the wrong way for you.
while i admit that boxing is the best way of learning self-defense (been practicing taekwondo for some time, total bullshit as most martial arts),
if you re not ready to look like a potato in the end then you should concentrate on something else, cuz everyone gets smashed badly sooner or later.
btw are you an in- or outboxer, and what style do you use, regular or southpaw?

It must be southpaw if he's lefthanded.

well i'm pretty small and nippy but i'm pretty explosive too. I dont HAVE to fight but it sure would be a better trainer plus i keep my face coverd up pretty well (it couldnt have been done better than on them pics) that was after about 10 minutes of constant punching between me and him so we obviously got tired. Also i'm quite confident i can beat any1 who's my size or slightly bigger / smaller so I don't really have anything to lose I will probably give it up in a year and half but it would be good to go back to college and see people who i havent seen for 2 months and i'm all beefd up

an old friend of mine went to some ufc school in florida, he was really small, around 160 cms i d say (roughly 5').
due to his low height his main tactic was kicking his enemies' legs till they fall down and he can attack em on the ground.
i didnt hear anything about him since he went to florida but he was known to be pretty good at defeating far taller opponents over here.
anyway sublime, you say you re pretty small so i take it you re an in-boxer?

I dont know I do prefer to just do straight japbs if that's what u mean but being a leftie I can also put a blind hook on and it fucks them up pretty good

well an outboxer is someone who tries to keep distance from the opponent by jabbing him, a long range fighter.
you said you re short so that basically means you re an inboxer, ie. someone who tries to slip in while the opponent launches an attack and tries to counter it.
you basically cant outbox if the opponent is taller than you ie. has a longer reach.

Featherweight 122 to 126 lbs 122 to 126 lbs (57.153 kilos)
Super Featherweight /
Junior Lightweight 126 to 130 lbs 126 to 130 lbs (58.967 kilos)
I'm in 1 of them 2 (i dont know my EXACT weight off the top of my head)
just to give you an idea of how small I am anyway I suppose you could call me an in-boxer :/ you'll see if I can get this 'fight' recorded. only 17 hours to go if I do have it

if he s smaller then you can outbox, its the safest way, just keeping him on distance with small jabs and waiting for an opportunity, but i m sure you know that.

shit you're old!
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year, running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.
