there are a lot stupid things in every language, but the winner is french.
they even don't have a real word for '80'.
they say: '4-20' like '4 x 20', and 90 is '4-20-10' like '4 x 20 + 10' lol

french is actually quite easy...I cant write french all that well, but I speak it pretty good
and the number thing is like that in many languages i suspect
I can count from 1-1000 in Japanese and Korean and in both, u dont say 50 or whatever number it is.
In Japanese for example 5 is Go and 10 is Ju so 50 is Goju. And to say 51 itd be GoJu-ich
ich = 1.
They are all based off the numbers 1-10
Ich
Ne
San
Shi
Go
Roku
sichi
achi
ku
ju
my spelling is prolly way off as I havent practiced the writing and shit in a while but I had to study the numbers and crap, spelling included when i got my Shodan (first degree black belt in any Jap style)in Shotokan and Chito Ryu many, many years ago...16 years
Barely remember the Korean shit, even weirder when u learned japanese first lol

Well, least u didnt waste ur money right? judo isnt all that effective in a street fight anyway...unless ur fighting a ground fighter or someone who likes to grab ya, ya know?
I was told once, by Kwan Ja Nim, that if a fight lasts more than a second or more than one move/combo, its no longer fight. rather, its a wrestling match as most fights end up on the ground after the first few moves...hence the reason when I fight, i go for the knee's and throat and joints right off the bat, i dont like rolling around on the ground

Yeah, just imagine how much time would be wasted if everyone started using those old words:
Checkout Girl in the store: "That'll be four and half three times twenty crowns and five and half five times twenty ore".
You: "..."

I think German is a fucking dumb language with all its rules and stuff.
The funny part is, when I write or speak German I have no clue why I am writing or speaking that way. I dont know shit about German Grammar, I just know that this way Im speaking/writing is right. And thats what matters
I also can speak Polish, not good, but I understand most of the Stuff. Cant write it.
Same goes for French, I cant speak or write French very well, but I understand most of the Stuff.
And because the Czech and Bosnian language is kinda similar to Polish, I understand these languages sometimes too. Russian is too hard, a few similiaries, but thats it.
Well and there is English...I can write, I can read and I can Speak it. Vocabulary problems, but thats ok, I dont care.
Oh and btw, there is Latin....Latin...the most, MOST annoying language ever created. I hate it. I have to learn it in school, like most of the languages (except Polish and the rest I understand, because I know Polish).
Summary:
I understand at least 7 !! Languages, more or less, quite an achievement,

Last time I was in Spain I wanted a chicken burger from KFC. I ended up asking for a 'dick' burger. The girl behind the counter broke out in hysterics.
I've always wanted to learn another language. Studied French & German at school but I certainly don't know them. It's hard to get the motivation when your mother tongue is English as it's used as an international language.

I speak english and swedish fluently and i have a basic knowledge in Spanish, German and French. I was able to speak finish when i was a kid but then we moved from away from the finish border and now i hardly remember anything. It's kind of weird really because when i was five i was speaking both swedish and finish at pretty much the same level.
I really respect people who know alot of languages. I had a teacher who was fluent in sixteen languages, he worked for the military when he was younger only because he could speak so many languages. Kinda cool
