Errr, take a look at that picture:
Now, this picture is probably the best picture to describe the 'civilized' teens (err... around 70%).
By looking at that picture you can pretty much tell about their retardness (ex. nice clock yo!) and even tastes.
What do you think a group like that listens to ? I'd say some HipHop, Rap or "Underground Punk and Metal". (Imagine one of those retards to be listening to Dreamtide or Allen Lande)

Exactly, muchmusic/mtv whatever, they play all the mainstream shit which is all about money, bitches and clothes and shit
some rappers, mostly old school ones have something to say and a talent for rhyming. I agree, the music side of it, in terms of the beat, is all that hard to create if u have the right equipment and software, but rappnig/freestyling (where most rappers start, doing battles and dubes) is very hard. To actually make something that makes sense and sounds good

You obviously know nothing about rap. Both of the artist's u mentioned write their own shit, and are really skilled. Listen to their undergroud shit, their dubs, etc rap olympics etc
Rap is alot more than rhyming words...if u actually listen to it and understand the slang. Thats the problem right there. White suburbia doesnt understand what half the words mean and they way they say shit.
True, most of the mainstream songs lack talent, but 50 cent was releasing shit for 3 years before his official first cd.
I highly doubt u could last a round in a freestyle battle. Rappers are very quick thinkers, and most of the ones I know, are a lil more intelligent than "normal" ppl. Not to mention they do have a huge vocabulary. Listen to "niggonometry" by Can I Bus (Cannibus) and songs of the like and tell me all rappers are talk shit. Again, most of the mainstream shit doesnt appeal to anyone except lil white boys and girls who think they are ghetto in their half million dollar suburban home.
And no, not all of em are drug dealing gang bangers.
Seriously, I appreciate all forms of music, from Alice in Chains to 50 cent - try expanding ur mind a lil and letting go of those prejudices (in terms of music).
