LOL i Used to ride with him back in the day, he lives in Stockholm and has always been a crazy mofo!
Back in the day he was trying to break the world speed record for wheelies with 1,2,3,4,5 ppl on the bike!
Then he went to prison for a while for stealing bikes, he was pretty despiced in the stockholm bike scene for a couple of years! Him and me actually managed to pull a small wheelie on a honda goldwing once LOL i thougt it was going to break in half....ahhhh, those where the days!
Damn i wish i had a VHS so i could rip my homemade tapes and upload them:-)

Damn, was everyone ok? I've seen some nasty stuff on the road before; unfortuantly you've just gotta think everyone on the road is out to get ya.

Still cant live life in fear; hence why I still ride a bike... can certainly be more of a death trap than anything else on the road.

Yeah, it was just a scratch, and we used seatbelts Smile so its ok. But the roads in Norway, atleast where i live is not safe atm. It may be fun to play with the handbrake... But its not any fun when people crash. We was driving and municipal car. So we had to complete a damage-raport, and it made some problems, bah Sad

btw: Just now it would be fun to have a volvo 240 Very Happy

Women drivers are dangerous. Not because they lack driving ability, but because they are way to easily distracted - putting makeup on, fixing their hair, eating, talking on a cell phone etc etc

Guys, for the most part, arent like that and if we do gotta make a call, its a "hey man, you still coming out tonite? ok, 8:30, bye"...short and to the point you know?

Still, not all women and men are the way I mentioned, but the majority of the ppl i know are like that, so thats where I get my opinion from.

for vid capping?

I know thats one way, and there is this thing for like $50 cdn (49.99), Dabble or Dobble or something like that. Its like an adapter box thing that u can plug or dvd/vhs player into and hook into your cpu via usb (i think its usb). I dunno if the quality is good, and it looks ridiculous.

I wanna learn how to vid cap my dvr still...both my vid card and dvr have those digital connection slots (they look like computer plugs u know) or whatever they are called + i have a 9800pro with svcd slot, so 2 vid cards that can vidcap good quality, from a digital source.
The dvr has an 80gb hd in it and I have like 20 movies ive recorded off of TMN and PPV and other movie chans...I wanna back them up. The PPV ones cost me money too you know. And I bought alot of combos, like 10 bucks for Bourne Identity and Bourne Supremecy, full digital 5.1 sound, crystal clear picture, full dvd features etc I have both movies on dvd but it'd be so much more convientient to have it the way i bought if off ppv

Very nice but for goodness sakes get rid of that stock can and get yourself a Stainless ART system, I cancelled my Blueflame for an ART and havent regretted it since as to be honest looks wise the blueflame is probably better but sound wise the ART sounds better imo plus I saved a packet on ebay Smile

Get rid of that crash bung too, it looks like its fairing mounted and believe me when I tell you they will actually do more damage than good, get yourself some decent R&G ones the best in the business (you wont regret the £60 spent)

Nice Double bubble though I would have stuck an Iridium screen on there Razz btw have you bought a steering dampner? max top speed?

I'll have to post pics of mine when I get a decent digicam.

I do have another can in the garage for it; however I wont put it on due to a lot of the people im riding with are police Sad Until I pass the advance; its standard can all the way. I also have a good little cutom number plate with smaller indicators for the back.

The mushrooms were already on the bike when I got it; havnt seen a reason to take them off; they dont look bad on the bike and clumsy me will probably drop the bike when the bike is standing still Laughing Very Happy Any links for the R&G ones?

Havnt got a steering damper for it; does it make much difference to the riding? is it worth it? Ive had 125MPH out of the bike so far; however it should be capable of 165MPH; tho I wont be trying past 90MPh these days until the summer when I have use of a private airfield Wink looking forward to it Very Happy

Yea. Those frame sliders look kinda dodgy. I prefer to just replace my plactic Smile

My bike has an electronic stering dampener. It helps loads when you put on the power and go say over a bad (Rough) intersection or wash board. Keeps ya from having a tank slapper / Speed woble.

Heh I rode with a group to the cat and fiddle last summer and the black chap who I was riding with was a copper he even had a smaller than normal number plate and Race can Smile.

Believe me they are worth their price in gold! get used to the idea of dropping it because its not a question of IF but WHEN even if your a good rider there are things beyond what we can control that might cause you to make errors, and trust me to see your pride and joy scratched up like a badly bruised cat will make you cry....it nearly did me.

I do recommend you get yourself a dampner if your going to use the bike for top speed "activities" I personally think its worth it the front on the 98-02 models dont feel as planted when taking corners, im looking for one buts hard to pick one up for a bargain as they retail for silly cash!.

Yet another bike lover - I dont commute to work on my bike, but its my little toy to play with when im not at work. Nothing beats the good old heaters of a car Wink

But I'm trying to ride in all conditions apart from snow / ice - to try to improve my riding.

I guess you're always learning on a bike no matter how long you have ridden for, thats the great thing of it. Eventually after my road positioning techniques have scrubbed up I will look at clutchless gear shifting. Smile

Ive been riding bikes for about 15-20 years. Street bikes for about 8, and one thing i have to say is. Forget wheelies, anyone and there dog can stunt on a bike. I have really no respect for the street stunters, becasue honestly most of them cant ride. Focus more on concsiously counterstering (By that i mean really think while your counter stering) and holding perfect lines.

The first time your pucks hit the ground is a rush, just make sure you drop a knee on the track. Smile and not on the street. Wink
