Actually, anything under 12ms is barely noticeable and does depend more on screen quality and size than it does the ms. My 37" 12ms screen is damn near impossible to see ANY ghosts on. My 8ms 17" monitor very clearly has some ghosting. It all has to do with screen quality and size.

@Phluxed ... Hey man ... where did you get that tv? I'm in the market for a new TV, and I've been toying with the idea of going 1080p instead of 720p ....

... although too bad you can't get one at the local big box with 3 years to pay and no interest Sad

The important question for me is, how does SD look on it?

And as I said in my posts (if you would've cared to read it at all) was the fact that the DVI port gives nothing more than 75hz and therefore no matter the specified ms you will not get much under 12ms effectively. Also add the fact that most manufacturers takes the time it takes to change from one grey scale to another.. I would love to see the actual ms from black to white... Very Happy

and no, 1280 on a TFT is NOT like 1600 on a crt. It is simply not, 1600 or bust!.. Razz

1920 or bust says my monitor Razz

Anyhow, nouse, I ordered it up from the US of A. I paid in full for it. 1080p isn't readily available in Canada on LCD televisions yet. I must say, I just got my HD digital cable box. GOOD LORD. I watched CSI: Miami last night on CBSHD and good god. I don't think I've been happier with this monstrosity. Not only does it ROCK as a huge PC monitor, but it is a fabulous TV as well. I put on DiscoveryHD today and was even MORE impressed. That channel rocks by the way.
