I think it is rather disgusting, but people up north like it. It is fish mixed with potatoes, onions and beetroot. It's a tradtional food for sailors. |
sounds interesting. I'd try it.

You like your 'good old boy' food don't you. Mash potatoes, gravy, scrambled eggs, fried chicken. LOL but cream corn makes you puke. I never eat that unless my mom makes it. We don't fry the chicken, it's baked.
How about stuffed green peppers. They have rice, tomato soup, potatoes, lean ground sirlion. I had some of that 2 weeks ago. I was starving and it was sooo good.

Yeah. I like simple, but tasty food. Bacon and cheese eggs is my favourite dish. I have it on the reg.
And cream corn? so nasty...the smell makes my stomach turn. Corn on the cob is good, with some garlic butter
Stuffed peppers sound good. You know whats good (but it might upset your stomach)? hot banana peppers and pita bread with some milk (well, lots of milk).
See, thats how i eat alot of the time instead of cooking. Deli meat, bread, vegetable(s), fruit and dairy (milk or eggs or yogurt).
You dont fry chicken? fried chicken is the best way to make chicken. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes/potato salad, with rice and corn is excellent.
Do you cook all the time?

I rarely deep fry anything. For my ex I did because we would have poker nights here and I hate poker/cards. I would do that battered mushrooms, beans, chicken fingers, onions, pub food.
When you say fried chicken do you mean you drop it in oil as it is, or batter it like KFC.
If I do chicken I oven roast it with salt, pepper and paprika and I bast the hell outta it. I have a weakness. Chicken skin or turkey skin, I love it.
I don’t use that shak’n bake stuff . That kinda stuff to me just eats up your grocery bill.
If I do crunchy chicken I will dip thighs in flour, coat it in egg, dip it in premium soda cracker/bread crumbs. Then oven with a bit of oil in the bottom.
Garlic mash potatoes are the best. Boil a bunch of garlic with the potatoes and mash it all together with milk and butter. Greek (boiled in lemon then baked) potatoes are good too. One of my best friends was Greek and her dad owned a Greek restaurant. I learned a lot from them.
I don’t really cook anymore unless I have people over. Too bad because I enjoy it. I loved coming home from work, opening a bottle of wine, some music and I would start chopping. A lot of my friends work Sept-June so we get together on the weekends more but I don’t do the dinners that I used to. Kinda silly for one person. For dinner sometimes I just grab a salad roll for $1 with a piece of fruit or a sticky rice dumpling.
I am actually thinking of getting a couple of ‘home stay’ students. You get $700/month/per one person and you have provide a breakfast and you have to cook dinner overnight for them. My friends do it and brings in about $1400/month. They are students that come from all over the world to learn english and they can be anywhere from 15-50 yrs.

Your ex was a lucky guy. I havent been lucky when it comes to finding women who enjoy cooking.
If you want, you can come here and cook for me I'll make the money and you make dinner jk of course
I dunno about the students thing. Dont you think its kinda risky? What if you end up with a crazy...hell, i dunno, a crazy kid from sumatra or something? Or, even worse, what if you end up with a quebecor
I dont think I could have someone live with me like that. I dont mind bending my ways and adapting for the sake of a relationship, but not for some person i dont know.
What if they smoke all your weed?

I don’t know how to get the skin crunchy like KFC. I can always learn tho. I would imagine it is like a tempura batter or English style fish and chips batter.
I would love to cook dinner for ya
Weed woundn’t be an issue. My friends have only had problems with one Korean kid who was really immature. Most of their home stay people have been 18-23. Uni age. I don’t know it is something I am thinking about. I accidentally kited a cheque the other day. Not my fault but banks don’t see it that way. Soo I am thinking about easy money these days.
There is a risk with everything. Mon-Fri they are at school and then they usually go out in the evening (living in a new city away from parents what would you do) The school sets up activities for them as well. It is like a bed and breakfast.
I would put a key lock on my door. I worry about the birds and the dog tho. I don’t want someone fucking with them if I am not home. Who wants to share an internet connection as well.

What are you talking about? White people are notorious deep fried stuff eaters. They are the reason why KFC and crispy cream donuts exist
You wanna find the white people in my area-- check out the street corner;working girl or go into the local MacDonalds, Wendys, Burger King. Liquior store has all types LOL
Crispy cream donuts? |
I dunno how to cook kfc style either. But my uncle does and so does my dad. Fuckin awesome chicken.
If you cooked, i'd glady eat
And yeah, I know all people eat fried chicken. The joke had to be made tho like the black people and watermelon thing
i think crispy cream dognuts suck...I like Tim Hortons donuts And coffee...timmies has the best coffee ANYWHERE
I spend alot of money on coffee. if im working, close to $50 a week ($10 a day or so) on coffee. Maybe thats why i cant sleep *thinks*

Does coffee really keep you awake/wake you up? I'm 21 and never had a sip I'm a morning person so I never had the urge to buy / drink coffee. So like, how does it work? I heard it only wakes you up temporarirllly and such thats why people drink it slowly

I had instant spicy noodles for breakfast. (6 am)
had a sandwich at 12. Went to the jays game. had a set of fries and three beers ( I could’ve bought a 24)
Got home. Ate half a loaf of wonderbead and finished off balentines.
Oh and I had a half a pack of gum through the day.
Pizza. I'd sell my soul for something decent to eat. My tummy is gurgling.
