The only time you get hassled is when you run your mouth to someone you shouldnt. As long as you dont cause beef with anyone, you'll be fine.
It kills me that some people have such a negative few of the us in that way.

Well this isnt really a fair question to judge people on. Becasue were you find dangerous to live is really just in the eye of the beholder. And what you find dangerous could also very greatly.
I look at South Africa as a dangerous place to live. But if we take wars into account then i think Iraq, Isreal, lebanon would be very dangerous too.
Heck if i was homeless i would find Canada (Well Alberta) to be quite dangerous in the winter, you dont last long in -30C, with a wind chill of -60C.

Yes, Canada is quite dangerous place as long as jackasses like Kimveer Gill exist.
Thank god, our government doesn't allow people owning firearms.
That means we can't even think about gun carnage.
I admit wackos are everywhere in every country, but we can prevent them from using firearm by law at least.

BC has weird crime. Lots of ethnic gang stuff over the drugs. Most of these guys come from Middle or upper class families.
There are random shooting every weekend at the clubs. If you go looking for trouble you will find it but I think Vancouver is pretty safe. It is the unpredictible addicts and mentally ill that cause the problems

There are no homeless people in Alberta. One of your premiers bought them 1 way bus tickets to BC.
There is a homeless tent city about 3-4 km away from me. It must have 80 people in it now with plastic stuctures and tarps. I should take a picture of it. Community groups cme and feed them once a day. Their is a community garden they can raid, they don't garden it. People drive by and give them things, including me from time to time like jeans ( not falling apart)

Gun control in Canada is a joke. If you want a gun, you can get one. Real gun control is preventing the acquiring of the gun, illegal or not. |
