yeah, you got the Swedes. Smile World champions and Olympic champions. If you had Peter Forsberg you would win the cup every year. Wink

Are you saying the leafs try to buy a good team? I dont think your saying that, but i wanna be clear

We dont have a superstar team. We have a decent team with potential.

Btw, I just heard (its intermission) Pitsburgh was bought by the blackberry guys outta waterloo, ontario.

There's talk the penguins might move to Hamilton, Waterloo or Kitchener

Omg, Raycroft fuckin SUCKS!

I swear to god, he's a piece of shit.

Thats the problem this year...we have no good goalies. Aubin sucks, raycroft sucks, telquist sucks....fuck, we need a good goalie.

If we had solid net defence, we wouldnt be losing to ottawa 7-2....Neutral

From what I read and heard the Penguins seem to get the new arena deal done in time and will therefore stay in Pittsburgh to headline the next decade of NHL Hockey.

All of you better get used to absolute supremacy and unbelievable success coming from Pittsburgh soon Very Happy

Im a diehard Leafs fan Very Happy We havent won a cup in...40 years but I still think we are the greatest team ever to grace the NHL. The second best is the Canadiens

hmm to start.. i am dutch..
the only things i had with the NHL were the games.
(like the snes versions when i was little, with NHL97 it al started for me Smile, the problem was it was NEVER on tv)

And like 2 or 3 years now, i watch some games live.. (i have NASN @ my tv, i dont know if you guys have it on your tv?, or ever heard about it?)

the teams that i liked when i was little :
Blackhawks (i had a sweater of them, but my mom gave it away) (is "gave" proper english? Confused ), Rangers, Senators, Canadiens and Flyers.

I am also still dreaming about, moving to Canada..i really like that country.
Great atmosphere it has i think..Nice landscape and such things.
(did a project about Canada on school, since than i was in love Very Happy, and that was when i was 12 years old Razz )

I think i need to do something about my english? or can you guys follow it? Very Happy

Look what i found :

Your english fine and well written man Smile

Canada is a really nice country. Lots of different nationalites and races live here. Everyone gets along for the most part.

The dutch are well like in Canada as well. Cuz of WW2 and such. My grandfather was involved in that mission to liberate the dutch from the nazi's. My family has alot of dutch friend's because of it. I dont talk to them, but my grandmother and mother still communicate with the people my grandfather made friends with over there

Just so we are clear, dutch is holland right? Or am I completely wrong?

lol what an old thread eh?

Its funny you like the North American culture and stuff....Ive always dreamed of living in Europe. I like european culture more id say. Europeans seem more friendly and laid back than North Americans.

Yes dutch is holland.. also called : The Netherlands Razz
about the culture and stuff i like in the North American is because of the sports.. also that you can do it @ school and if you are lucky you can make it big.. (you know what i mean right? Razz)

About the Europe, i think it really depends where you wanne live, not all countries are that friendly..
and the weather is also very different.

yeah very old thread, i started it 2 years ago, didn't remember it..

Yeah, we do have most of the sports, aside from soccer. Our 'Major League Soccer' sucks....Toronto FC hasnt scored a fuckin goal since July Laughing Sad eh?

Well, Ive always wanted to live in the UK (London to be exact), Amsterdam (really wanna live/visit there) and maybe somewhere in Norway or Denmark.
To bad my wife doesnt want to live in Europe Sad

So you guys dont have sports programs in school? Like you cant play soccer or baseball or hockey or football in school? That must suck.
I played baseball when I was in school (never really was good at hockey...well, not good enough to play in the rep leagues and stuff)

btw, you speak good english dude. Smile
