Maybe not every nuclear submarine has nuclear weapons, but every nuclear submarine has a nuclear reactor that can create a disasterous effect if unstable.
Second, the americans got nothing to gain from sabotaging the experiment on shkval, better watch if it realy lives up to its hype and then develop one of your own. You don't kill the idea by destroying the product.
Also time has shown that the disaster didnt cause the shkval project to stall. It's alive and kicking... With rumors that even the iranians try to imitate it.
Well the movie mentioned before shows a intricate plot. I saw a Flemish version of it. Ofc it stays a conspiracy theory without claiming that the sinking of the Kursk was premeditated or a conspiracy. It claims that it was a conspiracy to cover up the actual accident and all that surrounded it.
I didn't buy it but then again all other explanations have also been speculations. We need the classified info from the Russians and the US to be sure.
