anyone had problem with dvd1 from Lost_Odyssey_PAL_XBOX360-REV0 ? coz when the movie is playing after a while it gives me an error that i should clean my dvd disc and try again, i 've made an image from this dvd and in Xbox_Backup_Creator_v2.7.0.265 it says that this shit has no splivid. i've checked other dvd's and there is splitvid. now i'm downloading RF usa version , hope it will be good coz i've lost 3 omega dvd+ dl

Hm never really tried the game, but did you run the image through abgx360 aswell? That usually fixes any issues.

did you checked the dvd with abgx ? dvd not the image, check with ANYDVD error check it will show what files or bytes are broken
and you can make it splitvid with abgx
if it stops or hangs its a bad burn

I can only see one solution to your problem. Get better media (Verbatim), burn again at 2,4x, after that install it on your HDD (i reccomend it, its almost required to play this game properly). Once again, if the game starts, then freezes at some point, its a bad burn/media, theres nothing wrong with your image.

Lost.Odyssey.USA-XBOX360 release burned to verb at 4x and installed to HDD. No problems.

burned another dvd 1 from other rls and the same shit occurs , the best disc is this which was burned x6 .... damn it !!!

k omega's are ok , my dvd burner in laptop sucks  burned the game on my pc with lg burner and it works perfect

bump.
How is this game? I remember seeing that fantastic trailer back in 2006 and it was one of my fav trailers for years but I never even looked at that game.
I don't even know if I am into jrpg, bacause I've not finished much of them. Only Chrono Trigger and loved it (but not sure if for its jrpg playstyle). Played some final fantasy 8 back when it came out. Maybe some other games but not sure if I ever liked that genre. maybe I was too young for jrpg back then.
So is it worth 4 discs?

It's excellent, the story and combat are superb and quite often this has been heralded as the true version of Final Fantasy 12. I really recommend checking it out and if you don't feel like risking 4 discs, just grab the first one and try from there.

Im on the beginning of the fourth disc for months now , can't finish it for some reason...but I have to do it..  I like the game overall.

I got up until i reached some cave with geysers or something, and the enemies completely obliterated me. I turned off and didn't look at it again. I loved the story, and i loved reading those books or what it was you could find around. Some of the stories as far as i remember were touching and really interesting. Too bad it's a jap game. Those games got a bone to pick with me i'm sure of it.

some battles are pure epicness  , changing tactics..choosing proper attacks and defense , old school awesomeness.
You are missing out Stormwolf , I struggled with some bosses too...but when you succeed , feeling is just awesome..and rewarding , managing your skills for hours.
