Yeh i did that. Finally logged in today to check what they did. 4000 gold that wasnt previously there :S and lots of level 1 chars I smell gold farmers.
my wow account got hacked...... well i say account it was only a trial at the time.
Few months later i got a bill for 3 months of wow subscription!!! thought to myself for a while and found my old log in details.....
looks like someone converted my trial account into a full account (they paid for the full game) and then charged my card which was on the account for 3 months sub... by the time i worked all this out and logged into my account i was presented with about 10-15 lvl 1 characters on various servers..
A lvl 43 rogue and just over a 1000 gold...
As resourceful as the chinese gold farmers/hackers are at getting into peoples accounts you would think they would change the password from what i set it to one of their own... but no..
i kept the character that had like 400g on it and just gave all the other gold away to random people just for fun
