How can it be out of warranty? , they exdended the warranty on all 360's to 3 years and as the console was released november 2005 all 360's are still under warranty.

well, according to my book and what the guy said at microsoft, it was beyond warranty but it didnt matter as they fix the rrod problem whether your warranty is good or not
I dunno if he's right or right, im just relaying what i was told

So maybe he was talking about the usual 1 yr warranty that applies to everything else. Or was it before July 2007?
