I rented this one, since I suck at fighting games. I will probably play it for a couple of days just like I did with GOW3 demo...deleted it after one go!!!!

Reading this thread makes me feel old, damn I miss the ZX81, and my binatone.
I remember the PS1 when it came out and the CD drives on the kept breaking, some shop guy said to me give them a break its there first console, and I said I would if it wasnt for the fact they invented the damned thing.
Anyway, wont hurt not to have them, wether you played them or not. I'll get them as I enjoyed them so much.

yup I also imported it a while ago and just finished the first god of war. pretty cool stuff.
the quick time events are indeed a bit annoying though.
now let's move on to god of war 2!

I ordered it!!! Do you think it's improved over the ps2 version since i have those and played them before. Also does all copies have the God of war 3 demo?

They have higher res.

Yeah, I believe that was a limited offer, so it doesn't exist anymore. I didn't realise this release was bypassing the EU (like Demon Souls et al). Sure I can import it but it's a bit of a pain.

I believe in some video they said the ps2 version was targeted at 60 frames but the framerate dropped at some points, while in the god of war collections it's always at 60.

it's just 30€ which is a very good price for a US title and they ship from the UK so no customs if you're in the EU.
I ordered it there and got it relatively quickly, but as I said earlier it was missing a GoW3 demo code.

it's not freely available.

yep, picked up district 9 the other day on blu and it came with a gow3 code which i gave to my buddy.

That second to last battle in god of war 1 (kratos vs shit load of kratoses) is fucking bullshit on hard mode. I had to turn off the game after dying for 20th time because I was on a verge of throwing my controller. Up to that point I had no problems and rarely died in combat (and definitely defeating everything the second time around), but that battle is just bs. I have full health/mana/rage and I still cant fucking do it. Do not think i'll try it again unless there is some cheap ass trick to beating it. FUck that battle.
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.
