I still have an iPhone 7 128GB I got 3 years ago for 500€ (new, without contract) and that still has 84% battery life with heavy usage. It still runs surprisingly smooth even with iOS 15. No need to upgrade until it breaks down.

This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

After that one headphone jack went away, and I moved android.
Now android is ditching headphone jack. Wife got me pixel 5 (love it, simple small, not beefy but allows me to troll so yay) and no headphone jack. Had to buy some gay ass soundcore headphones. Found out I love the idea of wireless headphones, regretting not sticking with apple.

I still use my old headphones with the lightning->jack adapter. Not ideal, but it works, so I can't justify an upgrade (to yet another thing that needs charging).

I just use some headphones I got free with my tv and they are actually ... perfectly fine.
LG fn7 is the name. No hiss... but some stutter if I have a phone in my backpack.
TBH I don't miss headphone jack at all. I don't want to go back to wired headphones just as I wouldnever want to go back to wired controller or wired mouse.
I highly recommend sony pulse 3d for ps5 and pc

Ya last and only iphone i had was a 6s+, nothing wrong with iPhone except the price. I just buy $600 oneplus Chinese phones that IMO outperform the most expensive phones on the market for 1/4 of the cost. I also buy a spare battery straight away replace after 2 yrs, and use the same phone for 3-4 year.. couple this with a Telco wholesaler plan and my phone expenses are <15usd a month.

My wife's iphone 13 is here and while it's cool and all, I have few questions:
1)Is there no system keyboard swipe option ?! only download other keyboards ?!
2)Is there a point to download gmail or is it better to load gmail into their own built in email app
3)Are contacts showing after enabling gmail in email app... are they copied to iphone/icloud or am I using and synchronizing google contacts ?!
My 13 pro still mia

1. Swipe is active by default, at least for me. Check in the settings (search for Keyboard there), it's like the 7th option in the 3rd section.
2. Depends on what you want. The integreated mail app is not super good, but gets the job done for me.
3. To sync contacts you need to add Gmail as an account in the settings. You can then choose to sync email, calendar, contacts, notes. All individually as you like.

1) It's not there... maybe not on ios 15 ? or not it polish ?
2)Will test when I get the phone
3)ok sync.. so I am using google contacts directly then.
