Hah, so I went on Newzbin and just added some stuff to my download queue, to start off my little JTAG-games collection, and goddamn, I never realized ME2 had so much DLC Laughing



I already have many of the games listed, but you know, saves me the hassle of ripping them and so on Smile

Ace of course not . Just old with kernel under 8xxx . Yesterday I found a sealed core system box for only 100 $ .

I want to use just one profile for my games, since I have saves for most of the games that I'm downloading now, and my profile has been with me since my first 360, so I'd like to keep track of everything on my main and only profile.. It seems that it's definately possible to play games on the JTAG machine and still keeping the profile "clean" from any JTAG traces. Anyone care to shine some light on this, or anything?

Oh and Garus - the box i'm getting has never been banned i'm hoping? Very Happy

Ok thanks thought so, my 360 is close to dying.
or the drive is, not sure what it is tbh.
Guess i find a cheap replacement to jtag or wait and hope for a miracle lol

But it seems I should never launch xexmenu/freestyledash with my profile signed in. Start the game, THEN sign in Smile

But another thing I just thought of - do I need to have my profile/savegames on a memorycard or smth? Can't I just move the MS 360 HDD between my machines, and still use the external USB drive for game storage?

Well, first evening with the JTAG machine was a success Razz

Installed Freestyledash, got it to run a default dash, copied over some 150gb of games to the external drive, haven't tested them all, but the ones I did try worked Smile

Also tried installing DLC, easy as hell with FTP access to the X360 HDD Very Happy Only tried the Skate 3 DLC, but no problems there.

and I take it there is no freakin' way in the world to restore this so called "blown E-Fuse" in the 8xxx+ dashboards?

This is so unfair. This mod came out of nowhere and got patched even before most people got the opportunity to make a shift to it. I regret everyday for updating my dashboard when I got my 360 in August last year. When did this whole JTAG scenario actually originate?

the whole thing started around spring '09, that's why MS put in countermeasures in june Wink

just sell your old one (or keep it for system link MP/whatever) and get a jtagged box. that's what i did last week and i'm happy as fuck. "fuck" as in "fuck you, verbatim, fuck you, NTSC, and fuck you too, MS points!" Laughing
