What do you mean ?
Played it last night with a friend in vs , simply press start and join..it was a blast , some epic matches..game is indeed really good , it's nice to have two good tennis games available.
They are using FIFA engine , even menus look like FIFAs..runs and looks good.

I still think Top Spin 4 is miles better, and players movements aren't really realistic : Nadal for example doesn't look like Nadal, except his little mimics... Still, it's better than VT4

I agree , Top Spin 4 is def better...but if you are a fan I think this one is still worth checking out , had a blast with this in vs. It's a bit fast for my taste tho..

game is great to play with friends who are not so much into tennis games. topspin4 is only fun if your opponent played the game often. this one is great fun even if the other player plays for the first time

Definitely too fast, you can run all over the whole court in 1sec... For sure for anybody who is a tennis fan, Top Spin 4 is the best. Still nice to have an alternative, but not worth buying if you had to choose between these 2.

Has anyone been playing this game?
Seriously the best tennis game around and I used to think top spin 4 was and it would of been if they fixed the online mode.
I hated this at first thought it was shit but complete the tutorials and get used to the controls, top game just wish there was online doubles and the actual modes were alot deeper.

How dare can you compare this game to Top Spin 4 ? This game is unrealistic, all players move the same, it's too fast, and also Nadal sometimes do backhands with 1 hand which is completely unrealistic.
Top Spin 4 isn't perfect, but overall GST2 is complete shit compared to it. Also online play in GST2 is more broken than Top Spin 4, people just stay on the net and smash, almost impossible to pass.

Well as i said, if you give it time and learn the moves It's a good enjoyable game.
Top spin 4 is a good game also and it had a chance in taking the mantel as the best tennis game about, but what did they do?
Fucked there fans off by not fixing the game and the multiplayer.
Cunts that is all.
And do you have gst2?

Im still playing this game , but with friends..it's much easier to get into it and it doesn't require that much practice. TS4 on the other side requires some skills and practice , I usually play it alone..  cause I mastered it..and as a better tennis simulation TS4 easily wins this battle , but ofc it's not perfect as cyclonefr said. Just comparing the two..

I have it on both PS3 & 360, and the only time I play it is because I find it more enjoyable with the PS Move than Top Spin 4 which sucks with it.
I played both a lot, but I guess I have my own opinion.
Only thing I like about this game is PS Move support (sucks but better than any other tennis game) and commentaries.
Commentaries are fine even though repetitive, but the audience is silent.
Play Top Spin 4, and the audience is realistic, and puts you under pressure. in GST2 ? Not so much.

I agree hope there is a top tennis game out soon where there is loads of depth to the gameplay and multi player options.

Also, you said they left online play broken in Top Spin 4. Yes and no, it had 2 patches (on PS3 at least) which changed gameplay a little (but for worse). Sure the online gameplay isn't the best but they did try to touch it.
For GST2, EA simply abandoned it, no patch ever, and the game is completely broken. But yeah it's fun sometimes, I have both this game and TS4 because GST2 sometimes is relaxing
Also, I like in GST2 that you can play "big well known matches", like playing at 6-6 of some historical match... This is a great feature that Top Spin doesnt have. I actually think the content is better than Top Spin. Oh also the clay in Roland Garros is much more realistic in GST2 than the shitty orange texture they put in Top Spin 4.
Let's hope 2K learns from their (small) mistakes and makes us a perfect Top Spin 5. I have no doubt they will, the amounts of details in Top Spin 4 are amazing :
players being sorry when winning points with lets, players applauding its opponent when it's due, fatigue being handled and having an impact in the game (not at all in GST2), having a button to go to the net and enter the court, the audience being stressful when a player is dominated or makes an incredible shot, perspiration, cheeks that are pinker when a player is tired...
To me all this is much more important than whatever is GST2. I'm pretty sure EA won't do a GST3, I think GST2 was a commercial failure, and the lack of patch proves it.
And no, I'm not biased because Top Spin was made by french guys
