I think I found the problem. I tried to install FSD 2.2 Installer w/ SD Support on 14717.0 kernel. But I think dashlaunch is outdated in that package.
I need to get Dashlaunch 2.31

I have another somewhat silly question.
I don't have true external harddrive.
Just a docking station from thermaltake and attached HDD to it. Format to FAT32 but Xbox does not see it? Is it because of the docking station not being detected?

No clue what a docking station HDD is - is it like a rack... the only way to hock any external storage to the console is the USB so it pretty much sounds like an external HDD - but only FSD can see it, the NXE will only see the internal HDD.
LE: Actually the NXE should see it but it will only use it like an 16 GB storage device. Try FSD and see if it's recognized there. Or xexmenu.

forget those fsd installers just download the unpacked package fsd2.2 , about that hd original dash should see it by storage if not than yeah that dockage station is not supported

Yea. I downloaded fsd2.2 package but had to replace dashlaunch with 2.31 due to my kernel being 14717.0

This is what I am talking about.
Original NXE is able to see 16GB. Actually Drive is 250GB. I formatted it using the menu
and FSD & XEXMENU can now both detect drive@ Usb0. Copied SSX ISO Rip again
and FSD was able to detect everything. Playing SSX right now.

EDIT:
Game is quite lagging.
Not sure, but when I formatted the HDD, it said "below performance". Maybe that is a reason?

Yup, either it's the HDD or the dock has bad speeds on the transfer ports. What are the HDD RPMs and buffer?
Is the HDD old? Any busted sectors or other issues like that on it? You should try doing a read/write test.

That HDD is at least 5years old  and docking station is probably not helping either
I will see I can buy any cheap external HDD 320gb for $50 or so
But at least everything is working fine so far

Are there any problems when playing games from the internal HDD? I wanted to use just my Xbox HDD as it is 120GB, that would be enough for me to hold the games I play at a single time. Is there any problem with that? I am just asking because there is such a large section about formatting external HDD's and so on, and nearly nothing on the internal HDD...
Can you just copy the games onto the internal HDD over LAN?

Yes you can, it goes a bit slowly but yeah it's definitely possible.

I think you need to use an internal HDD because DLC's don't work on external...
For normal x360 games it's: game folder/00000002/

Is it possible to "scrub" .iso files? I mean just remove unneeded languages and so on. How do you do that? Just extract it with iso2god or xbox image browser and then delete some content?
And do you have to convert the .iso to god nowadays or is that still only battlefield?

@bringiton, I think ISO rips are just that, only the essential game files.
So ME3 is my first multi disc game since I had my RGH, any hints/guide/suggetions on what should I use and how?
Should I use swap.xex plugin for DL or update to the latest FSD2 over internet, with should install the swaping plugin, and stick with that...?

Ok please guys, I seriously need help I am dieing here.
So I just got my console back from someone who applied the RGH hack. It had so software on it, just the latest dash (14719). I DO have my NAND and CPUkey backed up.
That was probably wrong, but I used J-Runner and wanted to install the 14699 dash. I copied the files that came out to a USB Stick, and installed it by starting the 360 over the Eject button. Now my system boots up to the "old" NXE dash, in system information it says Kernel is 2.0.12625 (dunno why).
I have no idea what to do now. I wanted to update to 14699 now, like in the video posted above, but I can't get anything running. When I copy things to my USB they don't show up in the games menu, when I copy things on the USB to start over XELL (with Eject button booting), nothing happens either, it just goes straight to the NXE.
HALP!!!

Well, didn't really understand what you said in some spots, but it sounds like you used and official update witch busted the hacked files.
Not sure what the latest cracked dash is, but I think 14699 is a no-no.
I'm hoping someone with better knowledge on the matter will provide better feedback.

That's the problem, I can't. I installed the original Dashboard (at least not the latest version!), and now XELL doesn't load anymore. But I found someone from around here who will fix it for a tenner, so not that much lost...

This thread needs an update again.. if you have xbox with latest dashboard (15574) you can NOT RGH it.. this counts for SLIM and FAT. even I felt for the "unpatchable hack hype" however RGH hack has more potential TX might be able to glitch the very first bootloader and then the hack is really unpachtable so only time will tell if the new dashboard will be RGH'able in the future.

Do my external HDD's need to be FAT32 or is NTFS ok ?, reason being alot of the iso's I download are well over the 4gb file size limit with FAT32.
