Finished first mission , and everything was lovely during this day..this somehow explains my reaction ->

So..it's horrendous , GR is finally buried..Typical fuck yeah plot and characters , I can't listen to them sometimes , bro fists etc..

Looks like Conviction , even a bit worse..sometimes looks like Im playin on PS2. That YETI engine they are using looked so much better with GRAW 2 if I can remember correctly. Everything looks washed out..

Gameplay

After playing Max Payne 3 , shootouts here are so stiff and old ... tactical even MP3 is more tactical than this , everything is automated and linear so far ( I presume it's like that till the end ). Breaching heh , you go to your marker where your team mates are waiting for you and then awesome breaching starts with slo-mo like in CoD. I got hit with a bullet ONLY ONCE . Everything is scripted , there was even on rails shooting where you are escorting hostage..you just aim and watch how they struggle with explosions and chaos. You don't know where your enemies are , np man..toss that sensor shit into the crowd and kill them all..through walls , wood boxes..done sir ! You need to switch covers..np sir..place that marker shit and hold A..done sir ! Stealth part is also scripted , everything is just set up for you..do them awesome kills. Probably mark & execute with snipers later on..

I really don't want to hate it and bash it that much , but it's so damn bad...nothing to do with GR. Even if this was new IP with different name and marketing..it would fail.

That gunsmith part of the game is actually more interesting than the game even tho they used mega derp marketing for that part..

This is my impression after the first mission , I doubt that will change later..
