Haha I tried it once..I felt ugly, naked and totally vulnerable Laughing Sad . Girls really seem to like shaved men these days though, we only need to grow up some muscles, get some scary tattoos and learn to talk like badasses who have nothing to lose. We can do it Invasor!

I sure hope things work out that way Very Happy Growing muscle is hard work though Sad

Also, NO ONE is bald in my mother's side of the family, so I sure did get the genes from my father...

Too bad for my brother though, as he is definitely getting bald grinhurt

You're still young my Garusa! You have to wait at least 4-5 more years to declare yourself bald-repellent xD

@Invasor: don't tell me, I tried the gym a couple of years ago but lasted 2 months Laughing

My hair has been shedding for a couple of years now, and I think it's starting to show a bit on the top. Most people won't notice, but I've been to a few doctors and they all prescribed finasteride, which I won't take. My old man was also bald.

So I'm gonna be bald in a few years, once it starts to be obvious I'll shave it all.

Fuck, life is unfair. But then again, it's just hair...

Baldness is a combination of genetics and the amount of testosterone in your body. More testosterone = bigger risk of becoming bald. I'm 40 now and for a couple of years the area on the skull straight up from the neck has become thinner over the years as well as thinner scalp on top to the line above my face...

It's fate. Then I think about a couple of guys who started going bald in 7th & 8th grade.

Just cut your hair to half an inch or so and it won't matter. Whatever you do, don't try to grow long hair.. There's nothing worse than 30-50 year old hippies/metalheads with long thin stripy hair with bald parts... Wink

" and the amount of testosterone in your body. More testosterone = bigger risk of becoming bald."

Unfortunately that is a myth. It's a long-lived myth that baldness = strong virility. The truth is that the follicles are weaker and very sensitive to testosterone and will stop functioning at normal testosterone levels. Best way to slow down hairloss = become a eunuch... Not "cure" but slowing down the process and in some cases reverse it. Receding hair isn't a disease.

A curse really, a few years back I got very paranoid that I was loosing my hair, like....very fucking paranoid. I started shedding it everywhere, in the shower I would notice a bunch of little hairs in my hand after washing it... scared the shit out of me, even on my pillow at night, they were all over.

Started doing research online, joined hair-loss forums, saw a doctor... all that shit. Turns out I was just shedding hair, I did not know at the time but shedding hair is a normal process, happens once to twice a year. I have had my hairline recede a bit over the years ( I have the corners ), but I guess that's just a part of getting older, having a mature hairline...

I have a super big forehead (fivehead) so it doesn't help, but at 27 I'm thankful to still hair hair on my head without any bald spots, and only some slight recession in the corners.

I think every man is secretly afraid of losing their hair at one point or another.

Neutral Yeah, but with aspirin it's 1:100.000 or so. Here it's actually quite often starting at 1g/day and much higher at 5g/day.

And seriously, don't fuck with the potency of a man, man!

If you have enough hair in the back of your head you can always try hair transplant. First few months you look ridiculous, but after that you look normal. Well at least from what I've seen.

Plus bald guys with beard tend to look badass, especially if they have a bit of muscle on them Smile

Haha he is! Beard *check*, as for the retrò glasses *check*, still have them Very Happy

The only problem is that my head looks incredibly weird when 'naked', a sort of octagonal-shaped mess that isn't very good-looking to be honest Laughing That's why I prefer to cover up everything even if my hair is pulling a Jude Law on me. xD

Bears can be sexy if they are muscular. If they are fat like this guy, that's a no no xD
