I know they are 2 different things, but i don't understand why apple uses appswitcher in its current form, they should at least allow to customize it, but i guess that is not what they are known for .
Thank you again, this HyperSwitcher does exactly what i wanted. |
Personally, I use CTRL+[Up Arrow] to open expose and pick a window from there.

Yeah i use that function key too sometimes, when there are too many windows, but alt+tab is faster to switch between 2 fullscreen apps.

They haven't destroyed anything, Apple only started sort of dealing with their multi-monitor shit last year. Can't destroy what wasn't there to begin with

They are really doing the integration of their devices better and better. To bind them all....

most indeededly
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Just got a MBA at work, and realised I am not going to be able to use my dual monitor set up easily. Looks like i'll have to output to one monitor via USB3? Other solutions are all mega expensive.
And then I hear you cannot daisy chain either? wtf?

Yep, sounds about right. Same issue I've got with my MBP, only one DP output and that doesn't support daisy chaining over DP (only over TB, so only on Apple displays). So glad I've got my "superdrive" and Firewire ports though
And sadly, DP MSTs are still ludicously expensive
