VLC here, but the amount of times I open a video file on my PC is maaaybe once or twice every 3-4 months? And usually its just some random tutorial video I downloaded that i couldn't find on youtube. (or was only available as download to start with).
So i just stick with VLC. it does the 10 minutes of video I need twice a year just fine
