One thing worries me though - what are they gonna do in terms of level diversity. It's freakin Africa - ruins, huts and sand.

Had some fun AI occurences as well. Plus, stand in plain daylight, soldier roughly 14m away does not even bother Laughing Would be too hard maybe... Razz

Stopped playing at mission 3.

First impressions were good but this one has absolutely no charm - probably because of the dull setting. The first one thanks to the city scenery had those interesting vantage points, roof spots and all that shit. In this one because of the flat terrain it gets really boring. You actually play stealth like Hitman running around ruins instead of being a fucking sniper. And I guess that's why they introduced this 'relocate' system - to stimulate the players to use the rifle.

One more example of not being a sniper: you have to kill a general in a moving Hanomag. Well what a seasoned Sniper Elite player would think? Stop the Hanomag with explosive, the general would probably crawl out and I'll have a few seconds to whack him while he's running. Fuck you, player! You place a mine on the road, boom goes the Hanomag, mission accomplished - no sniping involved. That's not what I *cough* paid for *cough.

Im on chapter 5 (of 8 it seems like)
Its kinda like Ground Zero; you can spend 5 times more time if you want to get 100% but at normal play id say the game is 4-5 hours.

No way in hell you can do that on the harder difficulties. Im playing marksman and its a bad idea most of the time. Besides to get lots of XP stealth is the way to go.

The location first of all, and overall the game is improved in every aspect as far as I can see. Map, objectives, kill cam, "fake feel of a free roaming game xD" and probably lots of other details I don't pay attention too I guess its not a lot better, but its definitely the best Sniper Elite so far. And it also made me realize HOW shitty enemy front was Very Happy Wink

Well you can't compare these two in the first place. Laughing

Anyway i'm surprised that you like the setting. It's repetitive and bland unlike those European cities in V2. And you're much less a sniper than before.

Im so fucking tired of Europe (more specifically western and eastern Europe!) and USA.
I get what you're saying about being less of a sniper, but I like that. More night time missions makes you play like sam fisher about 50%+ of the time, but yeah... some people might feel a little deceived by title of the game Laughing

Just tried it , played two missions...it's very different from SEv2 , with still shitty AI , gfx is decent..too much bloom but at least runs at 60 and 1080p. Laughing Slomo cam can be buggy sometimes , not sure if it's really improvement..can be fun with some hilarious shots. So far 6-7 game. Tried to join MP but no luck...

360 here, 3rd mission, at some particular times the game barely runs at 30 fps. Feels like 15-20 at most.

The game looks good for a PS3 game, it does look like a proper PS3 game and not a downscaled port. Sadly, the framerate sucks (about 20-30fps) but hey at least it's free Laughing

The game is fun, but i had some ugly bugs that killed me.
I alsof tried to play coop nobody is joining my lobby or can you only invite people?
