so far this season is a letdown compared to first one, it moves too slow and the dialogue isnt good enough to keep it interesting. its been hyped for war but half the season was spent trying to avoid it...started great then nothing, then few minutes of great dragon fight then nothing again, and only 3 ep left to go.
this year had all of the big shows return, yet shogun still the best thing so far, unless rings of power s2 is a masterpiece
The beginning was good though. Gave me Game of thrones vibes, unlike the first season ever ddi
Episode was fine, no slower than any previous one. It set up a bunch of stuff, like the dragonseeds coming next week. Can't wait to see the Bronze Fury in all his glory.
Kinda concerned that they're setting up Rhaena to take Nettles' storyline, but I guess they need to give her something to do.
This ep is way slower than anything ever in this universe. I've had to turn off 3 times now, so it'll take me at least 4 times to get through this.
The episode really reminded me of the most boring parts of GoT, with the endless walks through the garden (which South Park joked about), at least in GoT they got self aware about it eventually and made a joke of it which is kind of funny.
I have somewhat mixed feeling about the LGBT push they did for

Still, at the very least characters like Aegon II while still being antagonist have layers to them.
So it's still in the spirit of ASoIaF and Fire and blood which the later played with the fact it's an "history" book with a lot of information written there are bias.
the last part of the episode was very nice and finaly were going somewhere, but with only 1 ep left seems very little too late, should have been 10 episode season
