I thought it was red like a lobster from being too hard to use sun cream.

Yea, hasn't been totally horrible here either (Though yesterday was an exception).

No rain, but it's quite cloudy and windy.

Haha! Very Happy Same here, whenever I get back from work it's like entering the savannah, and turning on the poor PC feels almost like a Guantanamo torture. I should really buy an air-conditioner, but at the moment there are other priorities xD

I bought this "windmachine" some days ago:

https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00KX3TUNC

Not only does it look fucking sexy, it also has very good power. At least in comparison to all the other different fans i had so far.

I'm using it to blow from the floor of one side to the opposite ceiling. This way it creates a pasive wind channel for me, instead of using it to blow at me directly.
To my surprise it works wonders to make the temps in my attic room much more bearable.
As it keeps pushing the colder air from the bottom to the top.

@Nui
At first i wanted to get a chrome and a Ø50cm one too.
But the color was just too "common" to me. Also the size would have been way to unflexible to position it.

But wat also caught my interested were those Vornado Vintage fans:

too common? hipster much? Laughing

I wanted power. Got power. Loved the reviews on an older amazon entry, where someone complained that you couldn't put this 50 cm fan on the eating table. Why the fuck would you? To enjoy your soup with tidal features? Laughing

This week may actually be a record-breaking one for our central region, with refreshing >41°C planned until next saturday.
It's a scary thought, but considering the post-apocalyptic state of our summers I still very much prefer it over the mini-tornadoes that destroyed everything a couple of years ago. My body is ready not *puts steampunk glasses on*
