The finale looks like a cliffhanger to next season, but I guess they could also finish the series with it. All the stars are blocked by Command Ships and so humans are forced to make a stand.
Actually the Doctor Who is kinda fucked up in that manner, SG-1 had nice 214 consecutive 40 minute episodes within 10 seasons, whereas Doctor Who had 26 seasons xzibit style.

V is just another bigtalk series like The Event. Big talk about invasions etc, but nothing ever, ever happens. Annoys me with those kinds of series the "heroes" always saves the day when i just want it to go BOOM!

This show has been a disaster from start to end. I congratulate the writers for writing one of the most boring and pointless scifi shows in existence and I congratulate the directing crew for some of the shittiest cliche drama moments. SG:U, you will be missed.
