Holy cow if now people are saying it's snooze fest, what would I think
Maybe a snoozefest compared to some episodes before, but not even close to the first 2 seasons, now those were fucking painful.
The biggest problem with recommending the show to anyone are the first few seasons that are really badly paced and just go on forever to the point you just want all the characters to die.
From midway season 3 onwards its great.
The series has always been a snooze fest, with a few episodes here and there that are pretty decent.
The story has always been paper thin, focusing on mostly absolute nonsense. It's all character building, often good and funny dialogue, excellent acting and cinematography. it's not a series i would ever recommend to anyone due to the lack of interesting story, how little sense a lot of stuff makes, and it being mostly very boring.
It never went anywhere and it makes me sad thinking of how great it could've been with better writing, the interesting characters are all there..
the first two seasons we were just happy to see some characters back and didnt care, but this is se6 , they cant be doing this slow shit anymore and their silly artsy 5 min intros im skipping ... there is freaking TWO+ cartel families out there to dig into and gus his entire backstory between what happened at the pool to now ..., someone wack kim already and get on with it
unless ofcourse its already set in stone they going for 10+ seasons ...
completely lost after latest s06e06 episode. disappointed. Just finished up the Ozark finale and now watching this can't compare. Ozark blows Saul out of water.
this show...Just watched the latest which was amazing...and it pulled together all the other subplots. prior to this episode, i hated it..too many subplots..
here we go again.. several shows that are bad then they make it all better with a good one. rollercoaster ride with this series. been like this since season 1. boring boring then boom, then unleash the fury.
well, back to good mood with this show. i am fully prepared though to be let down next week. lets see.
Setting aside any discussion about writing quality, wow, this is so great technically and artistically (this includes actor performances), just like Breaking Bad was....

... if I didn't know better I would have believed both actors playing Lalo and Howard actually being dead in that final scene.
Random narco psico dies due to a failure in his (plot) armor. And so Lalo´s ark adds nothing to the story. His main achievement was lingering for seasons, further diluting the show
so he finaly transitioned, guess now its the bb timeline with 4 ep to go. all the theorizing of what will happen for him to transition were so far fetched, the way they done it was just great
