Er, they couldn't wait for Broken Steel and make it a 3-pack? OH WAIT THAT WON'T MAKE THEM GOBS OF MONEY! Silly me.

Bethesda: This is why I pirate. It's how I say FUCK YOU in business-ese

Your a bit of a knob then ain't you . You pirate as a company wants to charge roughly the same price it costs via dlc as it will to buy it prepackaged ? OMG Capitalism !!!

and rumours are there will probably be another dlc release after this so would make more sense to have 2 on each disc Rolling Eyes

But wait , your waiting to download all 3 on one disc . so they would probably never have seen your cash anyway . Your opinion to them won't matter.....

Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooosh

That's the sound of you completely missing my point, and hitting Mars in the process.

What I'm saying is, now that Broken Steel is out, they're gonna end up releaseing another Pack, which will invariably be either a "Fallout 3 GOLD" or a DLC Triple Pack. At some point costing you more than if they had waited to release a DLC Triple Pack now. I was in no way bitching over charging for DLC. It's become so common it isn't worth complaining about.

My point, so that you don't miss it again with all your blinded Bethesda nerd rage, is this is a pure cash grab. They are milking the customer base.

In Retaliation to me pointing out that there will probably be at least another dlc chapter after broken steel , They won't release all 3 dlc on a disc in a months time . they will release a 2nd dlc disc with Broken Steel and Point Lookout . which is the point I MADE . WHOOOOOSH !!!!!

What makes more sense , 3 on 1 disc then another solo campaign . Or 2 Chapters on each ?

Bethesda nerd rage , more like people who decide to rant and don't actually look into things is more appropriate . but I'll bite , do you actually own a pressed copy of fallout3 ? be truthful k

Bethesda Softworks Europe Announces Plans for Additional Downloadable Content for Fallout 3 on Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3

19th May, 2009 - Bethesda Softworks Europe is today pleased to announce that Fallout® 3 downloadable content (DLC) is coming to PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system. We have been working on implementing it for a while and look forward to bringing it to PS3 gamers via the PlayStation Network. Operation: Anchorage will be released for PS3 in late June, followed by the release of The Pitt and Broken Steel 4-6 weeks apart. Release dates will be forthcoming.

In addition, a new update will be released for PS3 that will allow users to download and play the new DLC. The release date for that update will be announced at a later date.

There are also two new DLCs planned for all three platforms:

• Point Lookout – Explore a massive new swampland area filled with new quests and content.
• Mothership Zeta – The aliens have returned, and they’re pissed. Experience an alien abduction first hand and find out if you’re tough enough to survive.

Point Lookout will be available in late June for Xbox 360 and PC. Cost will be 800 Microsoft Points. It will be available through Xbox Live and Games for Windows Live. Point Lookout will be available on PS3 after the first three DLCs have been released.

Mothership Zeta is scheduled for release in late July for Xbox 360 and PC. Cost will be 800 Microsoft Points. It will be available through Xbox Live and Games for Windows Live. Mothership Zeta will be available on PS3 after Point Lookout.

Finally, new Fallout 3 products will be available at retail this year.

Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #1 includes The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage on a disc and will be available for Xbox 360 and PC on June 12th across Europe.

Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #2 includes Broken Steel and Point Lookout on a disc and will be available for Xbox 360 and PC in August across Europe.

A Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition will be available in October. It will include the original game plus all five add-ons for £39.99 / €59.99 for Xbox 360 and PS3, and £29.99 / €49.99 for PC.

Retail versions of the game add-on packs for PS3 will not be available and the DLC will only be available for download via PlayStation Network or with the Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition.

I'd much rather see a proper expansion, but guess the DLC setup is working for them. Wonder if they can come up with something more interesting than swamp ghouls for Lookout.

Looking forward to more DLC for this game. I played it when it first came out, found it sort of boring and then tried it months later and loved the hell out of it. Finished all of the previous DLC and had a ball with it, so the more the merrier. I wish they'd keep the levels going, since I'm already at 30 though.

To start the expansion pack you are supposed to get a "radio signal". that means i can load a saved game and will get that radio signal?

In installed the packs, then started fallout 3 and loaded a saved game. But I get no "radio signal".

Anyone can help me?

It might take a few mins before you finally get the signal, just keep playing. You're playing the 360 version, so it's not a crash or a glitch like what happens on the PC. You'll get the signal, just keep going.

when it installs from the retail disc it probably locks it to your console Sad Otherwise someone could just rip the modulles from the HDD which would be smaller than 7GB for sure

Thats what i thought! Usually a gig max for each content... Not the size of a whole game!

3rd wave too.

Mhmm I played for about half an hour now, but still get no radio singnals. I loaded a savegame nearly before the end, where I only needed to finish project impurity. Im running around now in the wasteland, but the expansions don't show up.

Maybe it is because i have the german pal fallout 3 and installed the english ntsc expansions? But they installed right...

Ok, i just played the pitt DLC and what a dissapointing quests/levels, did they lost inspiration or something? i constantly had the feeling of "been there done that" i even liked operation anchorage a lot more than this crap, is broken steel any better?

Btw: no cool loot in the pitt or is it just me, i only got my Auto Axe and i can produce some fucking ammo, big fucking deal. i feel like going back to that guy and slice his head open with my auto axe for fucking me over promising me some "good" reward.

STALKER has a far better post-apocalyptic feel to it tbh. In this game the world feels kinda dead.

There's a difference between dead and dead. I'm talking about the bad kind of dead. It just feels empty.

There's quite a few things in the Pitt, ranging from weapons to customized power armor.

But STALKER is a lot more on the creepy side while F3 is more like epic wasteland.
And imo for a post nuclear wasteland there's even too much life in it for my taste (yes, not the point you were talking about, I know Smile )
I know what you mean, F3 to me, feels like there's something missing but I can't quite put my finger on it.

One major reason I like the world in STALKER, is because you fear the world itself. Not just the creatures in the world, but things like blowout and radiation too.
