Tried the campaign, but seriously, i think it all looks very mediocre and plasticlike, even @ 4k.
Uninstalled. There's nothing refreshing at all about this.
Yea, the campaign sucked. Everyone knew it would. Playing Battlefield for the campaign is like playing a Crossword Puzzle for the action!
Multiplayer is where its always been at with the series - they just shoehorn a campaign in there so they appeal to the COD tards. Wish they'd skip it, and Battle Royale, and all the other crap and just focus on a wider variation of maps for MP instead.
I downloaded the texture pack and installed it (28GB) took almost 3 hours to install? Fit Girl or some shit? But it made the plastic look go away! Or maybe it was a placebo effect? But it does look a hell of a lot better. But now my Battlefield 6 folder is 102GB Jesus that's a lot for a 5 hour SP campaign???

Graphics in the SP campaign were good with the exception of character models and faces, which are terrible by today's standards (even with the HD texture pack installed). You can see traces there of the troubled development for the SP component and that they had to start from scratch a little over 2 years ago.
Disastrous week for the game indeed, somebody really dropped the ball at EA/Dice scheduling this unfortunate (and apparently not sufficiently tested) update the day right before a multi-region $1,500,000+ tournament. The EMEA region 1st round matches managed to be completed, but both Americas and APAC brackets had to be postponed.
Good news is as of today the majority of issues introduced by tuesday's patch have been resolved, got to admit EA/DICE has been really good with reaction time and communication and relatively speedy to implement the necessary hot fixes, even though the damage to the game numbers and reputation has already been done. Hopefully they get the game back to a very stable state before the holidays so they can go on with the many improvements they had been implementing since release back in October.
