Well, that explains everything. Remedy as a fairly unique and original game developer is gone and has been turned into yet another mass-market company churning out dimwitted action games.

Sure, they've probably put a lot of work into DMControl like with their previous games even though the direction of the gameplay style is dumbed down.

Btw, DMControl: Resonant is co-funded (50% of development cost) by American media company Annapurna Pictures that now has the rights to make movies and tv shows based on Remedy's IP's.

Haven't been a fan of Remedy since Alan Wake to be honest. Just couldn't gel with their games for one reason or another. QB was a terrible mess. Control was a mess. Alan Wake 2 with some of the most unoptimized crapola engine. I mean, Indiana Jones with full path tracing looks so far superior than Weak Anal 2, and runs at 4K60, where as WA2 just struggles on any hardware. This one, technically, also looks terrible to me; likely using the same shitty engine from WA2, but pushing even more RT/PT crap, on consoles that have no business running RT, on an engine that looks and runs like a turd. So yeah, last good game was Max Payne 2 for me.
