And then you're blocking a line at the supermarket ‘cause you think the cashier screwed you for ten dollars and your calculator is nowhere in sight. You stand there like a common retard adding numbers. Then after twenty minutes of carrying the decimal and adding all those numbers you realize you were wrong whilst the seemingly angry mob behind you becomes obviously pissed! And as you leave the store in a hurry another retarded techno-mumbo-jumbo whore stands there takes out a chequebook and can't properly spell shit ‘cause her MSOffice Word wasn't there with her.

FOR FUCKS SAKES MAN!

Technology fucks you up!

In 30 years when all satellites fall and technology becomes 'redundant' you’ll be sitting there on a bench scratching your head ‘cause you forgot where you lived!

There are stupid people everywhere. Funny as that video was; thats all it was meant to be. Becasue the reporter had a biased adjenda before he even started doing interviews.

They do one here in Canada as well. They went to the USA to tell them we had just legalized VCRs and fianlly switched to the 24 hour clock. And yes they found Americans that congratulated us and blah blah, but i bet they meet way more Americans that saw through the BS right away.

Sure anyone with grade 6 geography should be able to locate the majority of countrys in the world. So yes, those people are dumb; but it has no bearing on America as a whole.

Basic math isn't useless knowledge. Who spells difficult words in their checkbook? Calculus, on the other hand, is useless for most people. Scientists and engineers use it, but can you tell me your life was better for learning it. When do you mostly spell difficult words? While working on documents in programs like MS Word.

On the positive side, when the satellites fail in 30 years you'll be there to save humanity. Thank goodness Very Happy

knowledge is utterly useless if it isn’t in your head .. we write it down to keep it safe & make it available .. use it or loose it

btw : business & all navigation uses extensive math, builders & craftsmen & women of all kinds use heavy math’s every day .. math is proven to improve the flow of blood in the brain .. death basically comes when the brain is not getting any more blood .. so you figure it out .. use your head .. Imo is the best policy .. Wink

So true, though its funny how Americans have been tarnished with such a scathing generalization by pretty much the rest of the world. How the yanks have come to deserve such a shameful reputation is anybodies guess, unless there may be an element of truth behind it?.
Nevertheless back in the real world, I guess it's like they say, always wiser to judge people as individuals then to generalize and stereotype. Have met some fucking smart yanks in my time, but when Americans are dumb, boy are they dumb. Very Happy

Props for the vid though, funny sheeet!

Agreed to that, if you gave me a blank map to fill in the states i would be correct on maybe five of them and if i had more correct answers they would be lucky guesses. On the other hand i can point out every country in the world with some precision, sure some would be wrong but they would be in the correct region.

Well how can you compare states (which aren't taught in england.. not in-depth because we just don't care... they're on a need-to-know basis which an atlas provides) with a MAJOR country in a continent? By being expected to name the states is like pin-pointing counties in England (of which I can't do at all).

Also peoples 'warped' view of asia isn't true. Sure a lot of it will be based on what people see on TV but again if you tell some1 to actually picture what a place like Japan is i.e. 1 of the biggest economies in the world. it is inconceivable to think that this is still true for the majority of the nation.

I think memorizing tons of useless facts has become obsolete with the internet and the instant availability of information on a wide variety of topics. Cellphones with internet capabilities can give you the answer to many questions with just the push of a few buttons. Unless we're talking about highly specialized information, like someone studying to be a lawyer or doctor, much of the information you've learned can be easily googled and thus makes all of your learning...redundant.

Yeah, but dude, its one thing to answer a question and another to say "hold on a sec, let me check Wiki on my phone.."

Those people should shoot themselves, I highly doubt they bring something usefull to the world.

About Hitman: Movie (2007)
Vin Diesel is a hardcore gamer, and absolutely loves the Hitman series. For that reason I have faith that he wont destroy the movie.

Response: Well, Uwe Boll probably loved the Alone in the Dark games.

If you look in the vid, you can see the countries are labelled differently. hence the guy saying "wow, i didnt know north korea was so big!". yeah, he should have known better, but I think it's American's tendency to believe what their told is the real problem (not saying that their edu system isnt bad or in need of help - never been there).

I'm not saying that any country is better than another, but hell! It isn't that hard to pin-point Australia, France, Korea (north and south) and some other countries on the map. I even got 97% on a test where I should place the American states on some map. It would have been a bit more difficult with Africa though, but still.

As I said, I'm not judging anyone, I'm just saying that some people around the world maybe should learn some basic geography Rolling Eyes

Do you even read posts, or just make a generalization right away? I am comenting on the validity of the video, and other videos like this. Im not commenting on American schools, etc.

And trust me, i dont really have a high opineon of American Schools, but that has nothing to do with my arguement.

This clip is just a .. joke to bring attention to American xenophobic education .. you asserted that American education was just as good as anyplace else ..

I refuted your claim .. because you were wrong .. clip or no clip Americas educational standards in regards to international general knowledge is laughable .. so your comment that it has no bearing on Americans is wrong ..

& by the way if you read my posts you would understand why I feel perfectly justified to make general statements about American education ..

I am disgusted by the educational authorities in the states .. they hampered my development into an adult as a result of their incompetence .. & I will seize any opportunity to make them pay for what they did to me ..
