as an atheist i dont find the above particularly funny, but i still snicker over alot of other anti-veggie jokes. For example: I have a postcard here with a bunch of angry vegetables marching with a sign in their hands: EAT MORE MEAT! 
those kind of "stupid" jokes like your god-joke always make me smile though, when homer says em =)
