I was off put by the size of those buttons. I bet they're annoying.

Edit: After thinking about it, i regret my purchase Laughing I was too certain about the g500s and went with it. After thinking about the perks of the g700s i decided it's better for me. You can make it wireless by plugging out the USB cable. I spend much time by the TV watching series etc, and it would be awesome. I'm going to make a plead, but if he doesn't want to pay me back then it's on me. Well, it's a good mouse anyway, so it's no big deal if he won't chargeback.

Edit 2: seems like the seller sells G700s as well, so i doubt there will be any problems switching.

@JBeckman Do they have free spin wheel? Without that, no mouse is worth it.

I do have Corsair speakers and a mechanical keyboard now (Replacing the aging Logitech 2500 2.0 speakers and g15 - first version - keyboard.) but the g9X I used broke before I switched from Logitech to Corsair. (It had the scroll wheel become highly unresponsive and eventually completely non-functional, searching around a bit it seemed like it wasn't too uncommon for the G9 and G9X.) So I switched to a g700s, quite expensive for a mouse actually but anyways, that and I think a few of the other g100 series mice do have a button you can press to make the scroll wheel completely free floating/spinning.
(Quite a neat feature although I don't use it that often myself but its come in handy on occasion.)

EDIT: Yeah the removable mini-usb (micro?) cord for the g700 is pretty useful, I keep it corded most of the time although as some reviews will point out said cable is pretty stiff and there's no fancy braiding on it although that doesn't really matter to me.

got a g400s and it's pretty damn good. If it's as durable as mx518, I'll be very happy. Havent messed with software yet tho. one button doesnt work cause of that, but I really only use the thumb buttons from the extras. Might use speed too in bf3 some day tho.

after 4-5 $60+ mice, I got a cheap logitech m510. Its lasted me longer (a year so far) than any of the razer, steelseries, or other expensive ones.
