Because i never learned how to manage money.
When i was little, all the money i earned from doing little jobs, i had to give to my mom and never saw a dime, never got any allowance, and when i turned 18, i started living on my own, without knowledge of managing money.

So to protect myself, i've let different companies manage my money for 10 years, but those companies fucked up all the time themselves.
So last year i started going to court and try to get the judge to decide that i can manage my own money again.
Took me almost a year, but i managed to convince them and today i finally got it on paper Very Happy

Because he can't handle money (--> debts, this I can read from the letter ). I just remember the pictures where he finally had some money to buy food and instantly spent all of it during one shopping tour. I wonder how much of that went to the trash bin.

Not sure why I would even share this with a public forum.

oh, too late: Good luck for the future Very Happy

Actually threw nothing of that out Wink
And no, it wasn't because of debts, i (and the companies too), made those debts DURING that period already. Wink
And i share that here, because there are actually some people that do care for others and their well being. Since this is the best news in 21 years for me, it should be shared Smile

@konkol84

Yep i know, it's pretty sad. Sad Nothing i could have done about it tho, situations happened that forced this current situation on me.

I remember the times you got fucked by these companies. IMO you're much much better without them, so this is indeed great news...

Now you be wise and don't waste your euros Very Happy

1)Never spend more than you earn.
2)Always pay your bills first(unless it's an emergency-health issues and such)
3)Write down all your purchases and keep a tally on how much you spend. Cut where needed.
4)Learn how to cook if you don't know already, best way to save on food(other than starving)

Follow those rules and you should be fine

Good for you, hope you'll manage this time. Although I could never understand problems like that - but maybe it's just me being too reluctant to spend money Very Happy

I didn't have any allowance either, but I did earn a little money by basically "typewriting" others' theses or gathering and selling vegetables/fruits. After lots of saving I could finally buy something I liked, and since I started earning proper money I'm still saving it god knows what for. I presume that I already have much more savings than people my age in my country.

Thanks guys, and no worries. I know my priorities, i'm saving for something anyway. And it's much easier to do that when there is a goal you really want. Wink
This is my chance to show not only myself, but the world, that i can do this.

So the company decided to still fuck me in the ass after their loss in court.

Yesterday i went to the bank with the paper from the judge, closed my account there and let them transfer the money to my private account.
At the time, i still had ~€1600+ euro on my bank, only rent and a few bills needed to be paid.
Now today, i got the money on my private account, but only €595,91.
So i go to the bank for clarification. Turns out the company quickly transferred €206.50 + €235.95 and €580.80 to their own account.
First amount being their monthly payment for 2 months, second amount is their "bonus" for me leaving them, but the third amount makes no sense, that money shouldn't had gone to them.
So now i'm here with €595,91 left, unable to pay rent or bills, has to be one of the other. Don't think i'll even have enough left for food..

Seriously, why the fuck can't they just leave me alone... Sad

they don't leave you alone because you are not in control still. Now that you almost are and unless you can argue the toss about them taking that money and get it refunded ( i'd say write to the judge about the situation after he made judgement ) I would right this min wipe the slate clean in your mind and move on, however difficult that is. Because if you don't do that now and ignore any help again from such types of people you will end up where you were before, paying money to people for no reason other than lack of self control.

move on from this moment if you can write off what was taken if its unable to be replaced.

So in max 2 weeks, all financial shit should be solved. Waiting for €1350,- in refunds from our local gov.
After that it's waiting for the lawyer and all the shit that comes with it.. Because i am suing the company for what they did.

I did my budget today, but somehow i'm confused..
According to the company, i had about €175,- a month left for food, drinks etc etc..
But my own calculations showed i had about €350,- a month left... Idk what i'm missing here..

 Spoiler:

(other than Ziggo, i have no monthly contracts (no cell or anything))
(and i don't have to pay local city taxes and small taxes people pay for the water)

Well this is just the first step. Next step will be moving to more north of the country and hopefully find a company that's willing to take a risk to promise me a 6 months contract (that goes in effect AFTER i finished my education) so the gov will pay for my education that i will need if i want work..
But yeah, in these times, find a company who's crazy enough to offer someone without certifications a 6 month contract that won't go in affect for at least 6 months during the school...
Down south, finding a company like that is virtually impossible, and even if i do, they are mostly family owned, so chance of getting higher-up is quite small too in such businesses..

So yeah, long way to go, but first steps are being made reality right now, so it's something Razz
