UNTIL I see Martin officially cancel TWoW, those kind of side "announcements" are useless and not really helpful, the franchise by itself isn't going anywhere though.
It's over for ASOIAF no doubt about it. We know the ending, I actually like the general outlines but the execution was terrible. People hated it so the guy lost all motivation even if it could be good in the Books. I hope he still finishes House of the Dragon #2. But I'm afraid he is so demotivated he won't even build the lore much further.
OK, I thought in the Past that Winds of Winter will be finished at least but not Spring, but At this point I lost optimism as Martin himself more and more hinting it won't happen

GRRM said Bennioff and Weiss knew the book ending but went a different direction
When Martin will die ( hopefully not anytime soon, regardless to the book series fate or not) , hopefully they series true ending will be published regardless of the status of the actual books series.
