Oh, it's like minigolf played inside a house with Burnout physics of destruction!! Played a lot of minigolf in my childhood, placed cans of soda and random garbage all along the lane back then. Can't wait.
Electronic Arts will release a Burnout Paradise HD Remaster (title tentative) for PlayStation 4 in Japan on March 16 for 4,104 yen.
Quote:
The game is a high-definiton remaster of the 2008-launched PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC open-world racer.
That said, while only a PlayStation 4 version seems to be planned for Japan (physically, at least), it will more than likely launch for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for the rest of the world.
This remaster includes all DLC from the Year of Paradise, including the Big Surf Island update,
meticulously recreated and ready to wreck in 4K on the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.
Release Date: March 16th, 2018
PC version, coming soon.
How is it a remaster on pc? pc is already 60fps 4k... At least bundling dlc might be worth it if they will give away the game for free to current owners on steam.

I tried this game 3 different times and just couldn't get to play it more than 2 hours. Seems interesting, the driving is okay but the open world seems empty and artificial - so boring and even depressing. Maybe it gets better later? Even tho I feel it's just the more-from-the-same and if you don't like it in the beginning you will never like it but I tried.
Considering Burnout Paradise is essentially a 2008 game it's not surprising the world seems empty and artificial. Can't expect a Remaster to transform the game into a 2016 title with the low efforts Remasters usually are done with nowadays.
^^ It definitely is just more of the same throughout, so if it didn't appeal to you after a few hours there's no reason to try and force yourself through it.

The PC edition of Burnout Paradise Remastered is now available on Origin Access and Premier, and will be available for the rest of you Burners to buy on August 21st!
Big Surf Island is on PC for the first time. It also includes all of the free updates, the Party Pack, the Legendary Cars, the Toy Cars, the Boost Specials, the Cops and Robbers Pack. And it's all in 4K UHD, if your monitor can cope with such wonders.
There will be a 75% discount for Burnout veterans...
Fuck that, we got Red Faction Guerilla ReMARStered for free, and Burnout is barely remastered as well and they want us to pay the rest of the 25%.
ISOdemo it is, like hell I'd be purchasing this game again for having it on the Xbox 360 and we even got it on Origin for free, paying a Premium for the DLCs LUL...
it's not on steam or gog so who cares anyway. It's not like higher res road textures matter in this fast game. Current port is ok and don't even have fps limit
