Master chief stuff was entertaining. The Asian girl and other dude part was by far the weakest aspect, IMO. That said, I can foresee them expanding on the latter but no clue as to whether or not that will fix its rather weak presence.
I also am not overly familiar with Halo lore so it could have also been that.

it misses the spirit of halo almost completely. way too focused on character drama with characters you don't give a shit about or actively annoy you

it's like bad fan fiction which should be actively avoided by halo fans, and not worth watching on it's own merits imo, there's just not enough "good" here to make it worth watching the entire season
has like 2 or 3 good moments throughout
if you're desperate for some scifi, it's not the worst show I've ever seen I guess...

Watched only 1 episode. It's kinda weird.. Half a life of brainwashing and it takes a ugly korean with a stupid haircut to become a human being. I find that hard to swallow. The change was too fast. Brainwashing is not this simple.
The combat effects were kinda weird. They seemed cheap and fake, and sometimes looking alright. The helmet UI showing amount of grenades was weird. How would that work?
But then we have these awesome looking scenes overlooking the cities etc.
It wasn't awesome, it wasn't bad. I'll keep watching.
