So how'd the reconnect go? Did you have to go into a diet or anything or was it just back to normal?

The CT scan showed the cancer already biting the dust and that was only after 2 visits. I got 10 more to do.

reconnect was fine. Was on a liquid diet for some days afterwards and slowly started eating regular food. At random times in the beginning it didn't seem to do its job and i got diarrhea, but was just sometimes, but all that passed with time.

Good news. Stay strong through the chemo, and once you beat this pos, always stay vigilant and get checked twice a year.

It's...going. Keep getting new side effects. Monday was another round and now I've got tremors in my hands like I have fucking parkinsons. Occasionally lose the use of my thumbs for about 30 minutes.

That's just me with a screwdriver in my hand not even gripping it. Did a motherboard swap today which usually only takes me about 30-45 minutes. Took me 2 god damn hours because all the little screws and cables and shit were such a bitch to hold on to.

@SpykeZ
MAN sorry to hear it. hopefully the end of the sewer tunnel is worth the having to crawl through this shit to get there.
I honestly don't know if I could handle that tremors thing without it breaking me. I am usually pretty stoic about dealing with shit life throws at me with a "eh, it is what it is" outlook.
But working with my hands is a big part of my persona. Be it in my garage workshop, or [badly] cooking a dinner, or just in my office/gaming room messing with electronics or 3d printer. Losing that would pretty much take away a large part of my sense of self and purpose for a while, even knowing its temporary.
But you got this man, like I said you might be crawling through the shit in the pipe now. But its to get to the end where the sunshine is

Starting to lose my fight. The constant new side effects mixed with all the other ones, having to deal with the shit every other week, on top of crashing hard after unhooking from my home pump is getting fucking old.
Financially fucked. Barely holding my head above water because the dogshit state I'm in finally approved me for food benefits....for 20 dollars a month....all because the state finally approved me for disability.....that i have to wait a minimum of 5 months to get paid, which they they're using May 8th as my date, so I don't get paid until December...because since my first pay is technically October, they're giving me my first pay month in November, but the check won't be to me until December 28th.
Really fucking glad they're so antsy to make sure we're paying them on time but giving me my fucking money I have to wait months with no backpay. Fucking cocksuckers.
If it wasn't for my parents helping me with rent I'd damn near be fucking homeless.

Can't drink anything other than warm fluids or it causes my throat to contract.
Tremors mentioned above.
Neuropathy in both my hands and feet.
I burn within a matter of minutes in the sun.
Steroids keep me from sleeping ok.
Can't touch anything cold.
The nausea is no joke but the meds they have now do a really good job at toning it down.
The crash after unhooking from my home pump turns me into a wet useless noodle for damn near 4 days.
When I CAN go to work on my non chemo weeks, I can only handle about 4-5 hours before I crash hard.
It's been fun. So much fun.
GET YOUR SHIT CHECKED OUT.
I was 250 pounds when I started this. I'm down to 215.

I'm so pissed that it's happening to you SpykeZ, don't let the sneaky bastard get you down. We're grumpy cats here most of the time but rest assured that we do genuinely care about you, a lot

Man, i cant fucking say anything about what you are going through, but im still popping in to hear about you and wishing to hear good things and bad things alike, sadly cancer is tough, science still hasnt advanced as much as we wish but fight it, try try try, in the end we either try and come out or give up and its over. Might as well fight it, see whats next. Keep us posted and keep it up. Man i wish so many things, i read manga to imagine and live things i wish we had in real life, if i could i would hit you with a truck and isekai you to save you from this shit but all i can do is wish and wait.
