Can also add that I was fiddling around with the logitech G710 today and I have to say it felt really nice. I've got the K90 myself but I'm thinking of actually getting the G710 pretty soon. ^_^

There should be Qpad MK-80 and 85 on the high end list, both are absolutely fantastic. MK-80 is MX blue and MK-85 is MX red. Absolutely loving my MK-80, on par with Ducky Shine, pretty much identical in build quality, but i like the looks of Qpad more.

OK! So some very good info/links in this thread. Been slowly reading more and more about mechanical keyboards, and I think I'm finally ready to get away from my Saitek Eclipse II after so many years.

I'm really liking the ducky shine II board, thinking about the cherry mx brown one. Either blue or white backlit.

Now if I could only find one at a decent price.

now that I think about it, maybe a red? I do a decent amount of typing and gaming here. No RTS games, mostly FPS stuff.

woo!

just got my ducky shine 2, opted for the brown mx with white led. Ordered it on Friday and it got here today. Taiwan to NJ in 3 days for $10 shipping....damn...

It's....fucking....awesome.

As someone who is as stubborn as me, and has been using Saitek boards for years now, this is definitely a nice change. Such a joy to type on, and the LED's are really nice as well. The build quality of this thing looks and feel top notch. Love the "clicky" sound, although I'm sure my lady won't lol.

Also ended buying a logitech g9x as per Leo's post earlier with the free spinning mouse wheel, and it had lots of nice reviews. Very nice mouse as well, now I just need a better mouse pad.
