I remember there was some controversy with WW the TTT, where in Retardmany (and maybe elsewhere in Eurolol) decapitation is forbidden, so they had to create a different version of the game with no dismemberment. I guarantee there will be no dismemberment in the remake. Laughing

Same mechanics and story from the originals, but with new twists.

Knowing modern Ubisoft, that's the part that deeply concerns me Sad Laughing

I think I know what they're doing. There's no mention of which specific title is being remade because it's in fact all 3 merged into one big open world with a ton of quests and towers to climb! Meet all the interesting diverse NPCs of the world of PoP like you've never been able to do before!

Don't forget the new XP system and weapon classes and level, where you can buy booster packs in the store! Laughing

I'd honestly be happy with a remake, don't necessarily need a new entry in the series. However, I am very concerned, since Ubisoft is not a game studio that excites me anymore. I used to love AC even, but I'm just so sick of how formulaic anything they make is.

I don't think they are making 2008 shite PoP remake. This very much looks from Sands of Time.

So this is not the remake of the original.

Well even Sands of time worth a remaster.
Hopefully it will be okay Smile

Mind Is Full Of Fuck

This seems to be using a very old version of the engine; clearly not the PBR engine that has been prevalent since Unity.

Probably gave it to some Ubisoft Bulgaria or some such shitty studio, and told them to make a Switch compatible version. Laughing Laughing Laughing

The game is developed by Ubisoft Pune/Mumbai and is built using the same engine as Assassin’s Creed.

This indeed feels like Prince of El Cheapersia Okay Laughing

It looks rather inconsistent from an artistic standpoint, the plasticky models along with the rough animations don't form an impressive combo (to put it mildly), and it seems to have lost part of the evocative dream-like tone that the original had. Ubisoft, not even once.
