Aye they had some hatsans in the store, looked great.

This is a first for me though, starting out with a inexpensive starter model so I can mess around with the innards and learn whats what.(alot of easy mods and parts for this one around).

The M&P was pretty much my first poly frame pistol and was my favorite. You can get trigger work done here by a few guys who can replicate the trigger pull and distance to emulate the trigger of a 1911 and still be legal. It was my favorite up until I bought my Sig SP2022 and discovered that there really isn't anything Sig doesn't fucking own at. I still plan on buying another one though.

Lasers are great for when your'e at the range. They're probably one of the best training tools around since it shows exactly what you're doing with the muzzile of the pistol after shooting and what you need to improve on. Are you pulling the trigger instead of squeezing? Are you anticipating the recoil? Are you allowing too much muzzle flip?

Also the reflex sights are extremely popular among those who use their pistols for speed shooting.

It's fucking disgusting how accurate and fast they are. I've got an ex champion for a boss and he's going to be taking me out to give me some training on shooting, then a few weeks later I'm going out with another coworker who's an ex Force Recon marksman from Desert Storm. It's going to be a balls awesome month ^__^

They're just bulk .22 long rifle rounds. You can get like 500 rounds cheaper than a meal for 2 at McDonald's

Gah, I missed this thread! Doh!

Here's what I've gathered the past few months (Note none of these are my pics hehe. But most of them look identical, setup-wise.)

Savage Arms Varminter-T in .223 (This pic is actually mine. Cat's name is Khaleesi and she is like my dog hehe)

STI 2011 Tactical 5.0 in 9mm

FNX .45 Tactical with an RMR (I don't put the flashlight on mine, but I do have the RMR)

Beretta ARX-160 in .22LR (love this thing)

S&W M&P 15-22 (love this thing as well)

Sig P2022 - I pick this one up this weekend for my CCW practice:

The STI shoots like a dream, but it should for that price tag (2k+ in Cali due to having to SSE all the off-roster guns). It's what I used to qualify for my Texas CCW. The FNX is nice as well and the RMR helps a lot.

Japanese guy hits the range for the very first time. Never even held a gun before. Starts off a bit nervous but check him out towards the end... Makes me happy.

Exhaust ports are called compensators. The gas that exits the barrel go through the top of the barrel to push it back down to reduce muzzle flip.
