I've never encountered a headache like this lol.

Got an 8GB cruze from a friend who put a movie on it and now he can't do anything with it. Nothing can be copies, nothing can be deleted etc etc.

It's formated as an actual drive for whatever reason...

I've tried the disk partition command lines.

attributes disk clear readonly said it worked then the drive disappeared from "My Computer" all together.

There was another command to erase attributes and that said it was successful but didn't actually work.

I can see the "drive" in Computer Management but I can't do anything with it from being read only. I can't even give it a new name.

I read something about flashing the drive but the tutorials I've found are by people who have the English literacy of a drunken Russian.
