Someone posted this on Facebook so I tracked it down on Youtube. I think the crash is real but the fire and explosion were added with after effects or something? Bad acting too lol.
Wayyy too much use of "faster and motion blur = realistic cgi" mentality to make it look real to me.
its more inline with Michael Bay cgi than realistic CGI, good eyecandy, but a physics breaking nightmare
Hell if nothing else a 2-3 ton SUV slamming into that old wooden telephone pole towards the end and not even wiggling it much less breaking it..and the total lack of ANY car parts thrown all over the road.
Heck even a 2 car 30mph crash puts enough car parts all over the road it takes longer for them to clean them up than move the cars themselves out of the road.
