Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia occurs in Russia, 1918. cause they had to do something like that to reduce the massive image damage which unity brought to them (that action stopped the ubisoft share to drop even more)
I could only think of one way to make the franchise worse. Make the games 2D, so exploring interesting locations would be completely gone from the games.
The China Chronicles was supposed to be a DLC... making it a three way story (alright that would be a bit of an V ripoff) but like Unity with smaller areas but then three different places.
That would be something I'd be keen of. Opposed to the victorian London.
Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China has the makings of a good 2D Prince of Persia re-awakening, but it lacks a lot of character both aesthetically and mechanically. Still, there's very little actually wrong with it if you're looking for another platformer to add to your pile. Hopefully future iterations of the Chronicles subseries can build upon the foundation that China has provided.
