Prague based Team 21 have just launched their shiny new Kickstarter campaign for the gorgeous old-school style RPG Dungeons of Alegorn. Inspired by the rock hard dungeon crawlers of old but with graphics and gameplay bang up to date, DoA promises to be a must-not-miss adventure for fans of the genre.

Just concerns me that it looks a little bit like the more remade realms of arkania, which looked awesome but turned out to be horrific!!

Whenever a KS game gets funded but only barely, I can't help but think "man they got the bare minimum they needed to make the game" and instantly have very low expectations.

Hmm, seems they're having problems with finding a proper translator. To be honest, I think it's not a good idea to start developing a game with dialogues in another language and then translate them to English; some things (not information, but a form of naturality of the language) are always lost in translations, no matter how well you do them.

I'm almost tempted to contact them; I have a trade license for translations from Czech to English and have been in this line of work for many years now. But even if I had the time to work on this in addition to usual contracts, somehow I doubt they'd be able to afford my rates :\
