There was another Bible-based Kickstarter game that failed miserably, but this one is already 1/3 towards its goal. They should use some of that money to hire a better animator.
Putting aside the bible talk, this looks pretty terrible, in every possible way.
10 episodes for an empty straightforward platformer where the protagonist runs like he has a stick up his arse all the time. They probably motion-captured jesus himself.
I am not a christian but how is being religious a sign of bein uneducated?
so you would bold-faced argue that a person who believes that a magical wizard in the sky is responsible for gravity and the sun 'rising' every morning, is not a POTENTIAL sign of an uneducated mind?

Generally spoken if a certain concept is unfamilliar to us humans we are ready to immediatey reject it. (even though we are limited in many ways) So the concept of an higher entity is just rejected by some people but lets look at it from some other point of view.
(I repeat I am not a christian.)
Generally if I ask an atheist about the size of the universe I mostly get the answer that it is infinite.
So how can something be infinite? Why is it infinite?
If you think objectively believing that the universe( or the space that the universe is in)is infinite is as unreasonable as believing that there is a magical creature in the sky as you said.
If you believe that something can be infinite why can't you believe that there might be a omnipotent entity that has created you with a cause.
If you ask me the only logical explanation is just that! What's more logical? That everything with a set of rules and order(gravity) etc. came into being just without any reason at all or that there is a higher entity that made us. Why is the universe not in chaos? Why is there an order and a set of rules? If the bigbang was just a random explosion why is there a certain stability in the universe?
If you ask me the default logical answer should be that there is an higher entity.
Human beings are limited in many ways. We are like fish in a water tank but we are still arrogant. We, humans, act like we figured out everthing but we have a limited scope of understanding.
Science is just a tool for humans to use their limited senses and limited knowledge to make sense of everything. But it falls short.
Mostly science explains how things might have come into being but not why.
Science never gives the answer to why.
Anyhow most of the people who think like you just read some theories and probably never thought about stuff like that for themselves because it's just easier to leave it alone like that and just live your life.
But anyhow long story short:
Your point of view doesn't necessarily make you smart especially not if you never thought about stuff like this.
Since the dawn of mankind many philosophers who were I guess much smarter than you and me concerned themselves with such questions. If the answer would be as easy as 'People who believe in religion are just uneducated' the problem would have been solved a long time ago.

BUT there are so many things that can be scientifically proven and explained, but a wilful denial of this evidence in the desire to instead put it down to the will of gandalf is the issue here i think.... not vague concepts and unknowns of what MAY be out there or what kicked everything off, which i think is a whole separate discussion. Yes i have pondered such things, but i feel VERY confident in stating that the AVERAGE religious person, is NOT contemplating and philosophising about these things in such depth... they're just thankful that gods love keeps the sun burning for half the day, and that prayers have the same power as medicine.
im not saying that those who follow religion are automatically dumber than someone who doesn't... simply stating that a lack of education CAN be hinted at by person who wilfully chooses to believe the magic claimed in a book, over the wisdom of scientific discovery of an actual human being.
i wouldnt even disregard the possibility of the existance of a higher, extraphysical being in a different dimension,
but i dont believe in fairytale characters that give a crap about the human construct of morality.

i think they used altar boys for mocap
Btw, wasn't David also a huge war fanatic and the one who had something like 10+ wives, most of them underage? Basically, Berlusconi's role model
And yes science doesn't go after why, because that is already assuming there must be a reason/purpose. Quite pretentious no?
No the pertinent question is: how.
Concluding there is a higher entity just because you/we can't grasp certain things? No that seems a lot like plucking something out of thin air.
People who take 'holy scriptures' dead serious or believe in a personal god are in my opinion uneducated. It contradicts the observable world. But it's easier to accept something like that than to realize you are but just a small insignificant thing in a vast universe. I find peace in that, most get terrified.
The thing however is that most people aren't religious at all, only thing they do is pick and choose what suits them. Doesn't strike me as being convinced about the whole deal.

Sorry, this guy really needs a "reality check."
You're arguing about someone insulting your belief in magic and faery tales on a gaming forum....
"Generally if I ask an atheist about the size of the universe I mostly get the answer that it is infinite." Make makes the atheist that you so willingly ask to prove to you something that is objective and clearly held in belief by the single individual that you asked?
Isn't this how churches operate, thus you feel that asking one single entity entitles you to understand let alone comprehend something YOU YOURSELF CAN STUDY in a library or with your own eyes?
Do not ask the atheist to prove you wrong as all you're doing is just self satisfaction that you know everything because some imbecile in a cave during BCE came up with this crap to explain to his naive children.
Sigh it's the internet, if you don't believe in what education gives, then stay uneducated and believe in faery tales and magic.

The major point i disliked in your first post and the post of some others is that you just declare a majority of mankind as kinda stupid. Declaring God as a magical wizard is what made me answer you and that's why I wanted to give some people here another pov.
I am counting myself as very religious but do I sound uneducated or stupid writing these things? Anyhow I am not here to preach or convert people so:
Of course the examples you gave are valid in some cases.
People not taking any medicine etc. this and that but Christianity isn't the only religion
Just to make some of my points clearer:
English is not my native lang. so I don't know if i can really convey what I want to say but I give you one more example.
As I said science is just a limited tool.
Let's say one day you wake up and people would be able to fly out of nowwhere. At the begining you would start to wonder but if a scientist would come along and give some explanation about some galactic radiaton wave altering our bodies you would stop thinking about it.
Lets take that example and mix it with yours.
A big ass glowing fireball levitating in the universe just like that.
Of course there is the wisdom of science that explains that gravity works and stuff but are you really staisfied with that? You are accepting thefact just as some other guy is accepting the fact that gandalf makes the sun rise.
And if you think about it our sun or our galaxy are just a grain or not even a grain in the vast sea of the universe and there are much more complex things in nature.
What I am trying to convey is that concept of science isn't suffcient.
I could go into much more detail and give you many different examples andput some other things forward to think about but I guess I better stop before some troll comes around to piss me off. I guess I somehow made my point anyhow so no need to prolong it.
I am counting myself as very religious but do I sound uneducated or stupid writing these things?
Are you truly or are you just convincing yourself that you are?
Do you understand that if you where born in a different part of the world or in a different time that your religion could be totally different than what you are following now? And how does that make you feel?
What makes all the other and previous religions lesser than the one you currently have or what makes yours the true one?
Do you practice every 'tradition' or set of rules of your religion? If not: why do you pick an choose to create your own version of said religion?
Could ask more annoying question, but this would suffice to see where I'm going at.
Spoiler:
And if not:
I don't need science to question religion. There's enough to question it on its own.

you are right, i m not.
even with this wisdom of science and gravity explaining why it is so, i would need to read books and put in some effort into educating myself and understanding why it is so.
i ll rather there was just a bearded hunk flying around an zapping stuff into existence.
fuck you wisdom of science, and you too gravity.
thinking youre gonna get me off my lazy ass and force me to learn shit?
pfft, this joint here and my imagination already make me one with the universe, the fuck do you know science?

I could give a prolonged answer to your questions but well I guess it would be kind of spam/derail.
If you are really interested I would give you much longer answers then I already wrote here in pms. But in short my point was being a person who is actively practicing his religion I don't feel dumb or blindly religious telling you you will burn in hell but instead I take the subject matter objectively and offer you another point of view.
@boneleech
Can I prove to you the existance of an higher entity? No.
Can you disprove the concept of an higher entity? No.
That makes us even I guess.
Judging from your avatar you believe that religious parents shape the child to think and act in a specific way but doesnt the same go for education?
*Hint: Pink Floyd: We dont need no education*
I just wanted the people to think beyond their boundaries and not to just declare something by default as their premade thought pattern forces them to do. (ın this case believing in an omnipotent being is dumb)
-> This is a forum
Forums are for discussions.
Okay it's a gaming forum
But judging from your avatar which i think i have seen before I could tell you that it is ridiclous of you too to put your anti-chrisitan beliefs in an avatar of yours and propagate it in a gaming forum and ask you to get a reality check as well. Even though I gave my answer in a context and kinda was a little ontopic while you just put your avatar there without any.
@thezeel
I didnt dismiss science. Just saying that your scope is limited. Of course you understand the mechanics of many things of the universe but not the reason.
========= So this was my last answer.Derailed the topic enough I guess if someone wants to argue after this I am ready to answer you over in pm===============

i do get his point, but i dont think he gets mine.
i can see why the unknown and as-yet unproven, can lead one to wonder about a higher power
but what IM saying is that a decision by someone to dismiss proven scientific fact in favor of a belief that a wizard in the sky (and yes, i'll keep stating that, because THIS is what people actually do believe in, not a 'conceptual creator', theyve actually given him form... even a backstory!!) is responsible for things that have been explained, is a SIGN of an uneducated mind. I'll repeat, im not saying religious people are automatically dumber than those who dont believe, or that all religious people are uneducated, simply that it is something that could REASONABLY give cause for someone to question anothers intelligence.
lets all remember how religion STARTED... it was created by the uneducated and the poor as a way to make sense of, and explain, that which they did not have the capability to understand, and a way to ease their FEARS. It was then used by those who DID have power and wealth and intelligence, as a way to CONTROL the uneducated and poor masses...
Sadly they take the boring approach of a game based on bible stories. I think the bible has some interesting stories that would translate well to media.
But then I'm more thinking of the supernatural twist with archangels and demons and what not. Dark siders way
