In GTFO, you and your friends will explore hostile and terrifying environments where, in an instant,
you are thrown from edge-of-your-seat suspense to frantic action. It’s a large-scale experience,
testing players in their ability to gear up and adapt to an endless string of unknown and
ever-changing challenges.
Simon Viklund, another 10 Chambers Collective member, says: “Every expedition in GTFO is unique
and the game lets you make informed decisions on what equipment and weapons to bring - but even
then survival is not guaranteed. GTFO throws so many curveballs and unknown factors at you that
you and your team always have to stay on your toes - and the atmosphere is suffocatingly tense. It’s
nerve wracking to play even for us developers! If you’re easily scared, wear your brown pants.”
Ulf continues: “10 Chambers is completely self funded, meaning there is no board of directors that
dictates our creative choices. We can go for a more niche audience - so GTFO goes out to the tight
knit, die hard co-op teams of 2-4 people. Technically you can play alone, but really - the world of
GTFO is no place for lone wolves and stragglers. They’ll die, lost in the game’s endless maze.”

On the bright side the footage looked better than the name suggested, I was expecting cringe but there's actually an Aliens-esque atmosphere
So the key is to keep your objectives and not lose any team mates? Wonder if you lose 2 of 4 can you revive your mates or are they perm-dead until the session is over? Gather its a fixed set of campaign maps, nothing randomized? Would be real cool that each game is different to the other as otherwise then you know all the expected chokepoints and merely set up the usual kill zones.

I was really interested into this game before they showed more gameplay. The enemies are just laughably bad and not horror looking. They look like the uninspiring bullet sponges from Warframe.

Mid 2020 i guess. It was supposes to come out end 2018. Got moved to 2019 but it's clear it won't come out this year either.
There might be a closed alpha starting soon.

Played it last night for 1.5 hours.
It's very hard but i liked it a lot. The game has a nice eerie atmosphere.

Don't play alone, this is a hardcore co-op game best experienced playing with three of your best gaming buddies!
This is not a run and gun game! You’ll run out of ammo and health before long!
Crouching is sneaking - and the monsters are light-, sound- and movement sensitive. Don’t move when their hearts beat!
You won’t get any waypoints. Instead, check the objective in the top left corner of the screen, and use the information you gather in computer terminals and from the signs on walls/doors in the environment to figure out where you need to go
It's pretty unique and I enjoyed it. Me and my buddies thought we were playing L4D so we went gun blazing all the time and got killed instantly.
But it's really cool that you have to be extra careful with what you do and you get that feeling that you are not Rambo and you will have to save your bullets, use stealth and use the tools you got if you want to survive is really cool. You don't see that very often in a 4 player coop games.
But it's a really great game, I will definitely buy it!
GTFO will be released on December 9th!
We finally have an exact release date for GTFO! On December 9th, 12 PM PST (9 PM CET), we will release it as Early Access on Steam.
After a successful Early Access Beta test that was carried out from December 3rd, we have decided that GTFO is ready for Early Access. This will be an opportunity for all hardcore gamers to join us towards our journey to Version 1.0!
The Early Access phase will be used - but not limited - to test The Rundown concept, which we have communicated earlier, and we also have a trailer out explaining exactly how it will work. To see more about what features will be available during the beginning of Early Acces, we have updated the Stream product page - go have a look!
