*sign.... None of these fuckers know what made Road Rash different and awesome. Not this nor Road Redemption know what they are doing.
Road Rash was great because of its core gameplay is in a simple format. You're in a illegal bike race, you're gonna use all your underhand tactics to win it for the cash. Not, let's just kill everyone with a gun, or fly across rooftops with a grapple hook, or cars are now falling from the sky, or let's pick up a power up.
The gameplay was great because it was not only fast paced with incoming traffic, but attacks aren't instant kills/knockoff, you have to fisticuffs with the other biker/police, while dodging traffic. All while struggling to gain an advantage either by trying to grab their weapon, use your weapon's extra reach, kicking them off you into anything that would knock them off, or slow them down. It's all really simple but it works great together all while staying grounded and believable.
It's dirty racing, but its still freaking RACING. None of these games are actually about racing!

iirc it was delayed to November/December because of Louisiana Flooding
as for this game ..- i could fun B-kind of junk or it might end up being second Ride to Hell
