But... poor Microsoft made such a big deal out of streaming xbone game to PCs...

Don't think I have a use for this but it's nice for sure Smile

I assume it's meant for people with one PS4 in some room somewhere where maybe they'd rather play on their PC monitor in a different room sometimes.
It should also give you the opportunity to record PS4 footage from remoteplay without a recording card.

Other than that obviously there's no use as it's always going to be superior on a big TV the UIs are made for, without input lag, and with maximum quality.

It's just a feature that won't be of use to most people. Doesn't mean it's useless.
Keyboard and Mouse might be interesting though.

I don't understand, why wouldn't I just use my PS4 on my PC screen?

Do you get extra control methods? What's the benefit when I'm going to have some sort of input lag?

To play PS4 at work for example. I regularly use my Vita to play PS4 games when away from home. Works great even with an LTE connection. No Destiny raids or COD MP of course but still perfectly playable.

Apart from Vita another great solution is the Nvidia Shield portable or an Android tablet with a gamepad+holder.

Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube
