in the end we will have assassins creed modern warfare. Damn, don't start going too far up the years, to be the older times was the charm of the game. I couldnt care less about American revolution and such, i'm sure i'll play it anyway though.

Imo american revolution is as modern as they can get.
Because guns. I could elaborate that but I'm too lazy. But once guns are 'common' they can't do the usual AC gameplay anymore. They'd have to revamp the gameplay to be much more stealthy.
When I saw the first pic of the boxart I thought "that outfit doesn't work"
But now with the GI pics I think it looks pretty rad.
Oh who am I kidding? I'm gonna pre order this one anyway ;_;

Wouldn't normally say anything before getting more info on a game. But the general premise of this game is dumb as shit.
That assassin on the cover would stand out a sore thumb in anything related to the american revolution.
They seem to have tried to merge a cowboy outfit with an indian outfit, all while keeping the hood. How the hell does one in any time period not consider the dude to be a clown is beyond my comprehension.
Alas, everyone can be a game designer nowadays.

My exact thoughts the second I laid my eye on those covers/artworks.
Not really pleased about the american rev setting, then again I did really enjoy RDR/Gun so depending on how they set things it might turn out cool.
Still wished they would have explored more interesting historical settings (Ancient Egypt, Greece, China, Japan, India, etc.).

Maybe it's a modern day reenactment of 18th century events that takes place during Halloween? After all, these pics that show very specific imagery can indeed be interpreted in so many ways, and people should not express opinion on a ridiculous concept as they have no idea what the game is all about (just because it's a fifth sequel in a series doesn't mean it will have a similar concept).
