If it's not just a rumor and it's actually in development, I hope they go back to the gritty dark feeling that the first one was. Something about the 2nd one just wasn't as good. Wasn't creepy, the characters were kinda meh.....and I swear to god, if I have to collect another god damn canister of gasoline I'm going to piss fire.

As long as turle shit studio ain't working on it, I might give it a chance again. Anyway I"ll see it when it happens and not gonna fall in the bait again like with LFD1 when they released the 2nd game after a year or so, meh...

dont think ill ever forgive valve for that decision... l4d1 had only JUST pretty much come out, the community was really behind it giving them ideas, promises were made about how theyd grow the game... and then they just took all the ideas and put them into a full priced new game, said 'thanks and fuck you', broke their promises and split the player base.

@chiv yes that was really shitty the 2nd one was also unplayable due to censorship in my area for ages. Not like they needed the money so I don't get why they did that.. Good standing with consumer and service is worth more than lfd2 dollars.

l4d is one of my all time favorites and most played games in my steam library, would be excited to see a new entry into the series.
